How about yourself? Are you always opposed to autocracy, or do you think it can be good in some contexts?
I generally oppose (I am averse to/suspicious of) authoritarian, hierarchical, centralized, opaque (occult), proprietary (fascist and or quasi-fascist) systems.
I am NOT in favor of opposing fascist and or quasi-fascist systems "by-any-means-necessary".
I would encourage people to work for/patronize employee-owned companies if that option is practical for them.
I would encourage people to use/write/contribute to open-source software/projects if that option is practical for them.
I would encourage people to enjoy public-domain books and movies and shows if that option is practical for them.
I would encourage people to use decentralized currency if that option is practical for them.
I would encourage people to move their fiat currency into local credit-unions if that option is practical for them.
I would encourage people to patronize individual artists/sole-proprietorships (non-corporate-entities) if that option is practical for them.
I would encourage people to buy used products and support legislation that protects an individual's right to re-sell what they buy.
I believe the best form of "protest" is to vote-with-your-dollars by supporting artists and institutions that you agree with ideologically.

That's a good list. Some of the mentioned things I already did or do. Good point also to support with my money those people/professions whom I want to prosper. I do that, too. Regularly with a small donation every months.

I always find it hilarious when corporate interests like the MPAA tell people, "If you don't pay full price for your movies and games, you're only hurting the artists and performers and writers behind the scenes"...
But they (the MPAA) obviously don't give two flips about those same artists, performers, and writers (screwing them over on zero overtime pay and strong-arming labor unions (especially writers) whenever possible).
The MPAA is a far more nefarious organization than most realize. I remember an old doc "This Film is Not Yet Rated" that went into it in a documentary way.....
Not only have the MPAA screwed over the ones you mentioned, they have gone a long way to shape this society.
Who was it again that wanted the family unit destroyed in the USA as part of their manifesto??
Or was it Protocols........oh well.. The MPAA is definitely nefarious.
They sell you a story, "just be yourself and if you're exceptional, COPYRIGHT will protect you and your ideas and you'll be RICH!!"
But as a matter of fact, COPYRIGHT is nothing but a bludgeon the RICH MONOPOLIES use to destroy (extort) individual artists, writers, and performers.
If you're rich it's because you're super talented and if you're poor it's because you're worthless and your ideas are worthless.
They've even convinced vigilantes to WORK FOR FREE here on steemit, meting out punishments to anyone who dares post a quote or an image that may have been posted somewhere else before...
Now that's some grade-A, premium BRAINWASHING.
