Right now with the Ethereum network for the first time we can give a porpuse to the blockchain, with the smartcontracts companies are creating this virtual tokens, that mainly are just for get funds.

Thats right, imagine startups getting funding by crypto currency instead of venture capitals, owning 100% of the product and be able to decide anything they want, ICO (initial coin offering) allow anyone simply create a smart contract, deploy to the Ethereum network and just advertize.

With this simple recipe any startup company can get funding without begging to the big sharks in the VC world.

What is an ICO

Initial coin offering (ICO) is an unregulated and controversial means of crowdfunding via use of cryptocurrency which can be a source of capital for startup companies.

Basicly by sending ETH to the contract address you own wallet will get token.

Why will i need this tokens

Depends on the ICO that you are investing, it can used for voting in companies decisions, can be to calculate profit shares, or spend in products created the companie that you just funded.

For this i recommend following some websites, right after ICO bubble exploded started to born this ICO Experts, people that understand the market and give a rate to certain ICO, this don't mean they actualy know about it, it could be fake people that are been paid to write pretty reviews, for that you will have to analise for yourself and always remember, the money is yours, you decide.
