The day before Yesterday I asked you guys how long it would take for Ethereum to pass the magical 1000 €. And I profesized it would take one or two weeks...
How wrong was I.
That was fast!
Roughly 7 hours ago 1000 € was broken!
Things certainly go fast in the crypto world.

I think ETH will take overcome bitcoin this year, bitcoin has become unviable for still being the main to go currency, because it does not up to the task, maybe lighting network can reverse this trend but I think this is where we are going for now if nothing changes.
I personally was surprised, I thought it would take a little longer to overpass the 1000 euro, i had thought it would be like a month
update: But it makes some sense, eth in terms of technology is much better than BTC and has what it takes to replace it and this may happen sooner than expected

I definitely was on the same page as you that it would take a decent amount of time for it to pass that amount. That didn't take long AT ALL.

Well I can't really call them predictions, it's guesswork at best I think. ;D
I told them that it will skyrocket over 1000, they didn't believe... fools!!

Thanks. I'm not much of an oracle but with this pace we might see 2500 in half a year. But there's a possibility it'll drop dramatically either before it happens, or even worse after if not before.
I'm fairly sure LTC will be climbing this year. But in the same vane that LTC is more efficient than Bitcoin, I'm fairly confident many people will start to notice Gridcoin and that while Bitcoin and even Litecoin just waste energy, Gridcoin uses computing power for gallant causes like helping find new better medicine, cure cancer and AIDS. and hereditary diseases, design better solar panels etc.
So my personal bet is on Gridcoin. It's been making some rounds yet, but still pretty steadily, taking its time, but I think time is soon becoming ripe for it.
