My employer welcome their third grandson named FARES - means the knight. His father is a high rank military officer here. This is their 3rd baby but all the two were born untimely.

Fares is really welcome to the house.

When a woman give birth here, they must stay in the house of her parent for 30 days. From the hospital they go directly to their parent's house. I prepared necessary things, house must be in a good preparation and presentation. I made it two weeks before the expected date. Everything in the kitchen must be well organized because a flocks of well wisher are coming every night.

Give aways are given to all visitors.

The variety of foods sweets and etc, served.

The hidden coffee and tea cups now being out and used for the visitors.

In returned, all those visitors are giving back cash gift to the baby in the crib.

Before the sunset I must lit a charcoal and put incense the entire house. It is said, eliminating bad spirit and odor of the house.

It is called Bakhour.

This is it for the visitors. We have still another rooms if they arrive together at the same time.

The mother of the baby will be lying on the bed in the Sala while surrounded by some visitors (only female visitors).
All the female siblings and grandmother of the child must be looked so presentable wearing new dresses and put make up.
It is repeatedly happened every night until 2 am in the morning.

There are people bringing flowers, a bundle of flowers and last night, I love the yellow rose given by the mother's friend.

Then before midnight, father of the baby will visit his wife and son, inside the room for male visitor. Male and female are absolutely isolated to each other. There is a main door for the male visitors and main door for the female.

The one who really tired from the morning till night will be the maid, no other than me. But it's Okey, they give me bonus as will.

Before 40 days from the birth of the child the parent of the child must give 2 sacrifice animal, will be given to she poor people. 2 sacrifice animal for a baby boy and when the baby is a girl, it needs only one sacrifice animal.

In some cases, there will be a big party in both grandparents house.

Meanwhile, every morning I kept the baby on the sunlight. Most cases here, babies have a Vitamin D deficiencies.

My lady boss has a daily ritual for the baby ang mother. Even the food, my lady boss is so hands on for her daughter and grandson. Even before the two first grandchildren, she is the one taking care personally. My employer is really a deserving God fearing, family oriented people. They are one in a million. Not all people has the same behavior as what they did.
