I've been invited by Oxford University to read from my new book!
Shaking dreams from my hair, this morning, I awoke to this excellent piece of news.
I've been invited, by Oxford University gasp to give a reading from my new book, Where Epics Fail: Meditations to Live By, and have a public conversation on aphorisms! Espcially, excited about this great news since, today, is the official date of Epics' publication in the UK.
I hardly have (more) words, at this point, and have been dancing in place and hyper-ventilating all morning! Would I have ever imagined such an honor when I was a 12 year old in boarding school, in England? Hardly. Or as a late teen, scribbling in the margins of books by my literary masters? Possibly :)
Dreams can come true...

Yes, sometimes dreams become true. Growing up in Eastern Germany I couldn't imagine ever to travel the world behind the Iron curtain. But I managed to live more than ten years in Oxford. What an interesting experience it was. Hope you have some spare time to look a bit around.
