#ULog Travel: āBenidorm, Spain Fiesta: A Feast For The Saintsā

Yesterday was fun for me because of the annual fiesta in the neighboring city of Benidorm and weāve watch the colorful parade and grand finale fireworks.
The celebration is an honour of Benidormās Patron Saints, the "La Virgen del Sufrageā and āJaime Apostolā. If your in the area, you can see images of the Saints and flowers that sorrounds the churches.
During the annual event, the town is very alive with colorful and float parades through the streets, live music and contests.
The float parade starts in Parque de Elche at six in the evening all the way to the streets of Almendros, Marte, Ruzafa and ends in MartiĢnez Alejos. Iām not sure of the parade contest theme though.
The fiesta runs for a week. It starts every second week of November and ends the following week (November 14) with a spectacular fireworks display at Playa de PoƱiente or Poniente Beach harbour.
I must say that their fiestaās fireworks display is more grandous than the New yearās eve.
It was an amazing experience to witness a Spanish celebration.
