TIMELAPSE OF THE FUTURE: A Journey to the End of Time (4k)

in #esteem5 years ago (edited)

Greetings Steemian's,

Sometimes exploring some of the more enigmatic areas of perception can incite some interesting feelings.

It's easy to forget at times, that perception - (in)sensory form - comes with great limitations.

Measurements crafted by tiny little creatures of limitation, (some) adhering to ingrained concrete belief systems.

When restricted to beginning/end (life/death), encapsulated in a tiny little globe, (quite a restrictive boundary) how does one really wrap the mind around unfathomable concepts such as timelessness or infinity?

I'm not asking anyone to answer that, because I haven't stopped reaching for the answers, and no one has given me an explanation which satisfies "my" perception. It's nothing personal, it's only because I'm limited that I may not fully grasp it, believe it, or understand "it" a single Qubit.

While listening to Beethoven on Youtube, an interesting production by melodysheep came across my suggestion bubble feed.

This production is an interpretation of what ultimately could be the fate of our known universe, based off of what we currently know, or at least, what we think we know.

In my opinion, this is a phenomenal production. The visuals alone make for a pleasant experience, even if one finds themselves skeptical of some/all of the interpretation.

I'm choosing not to share my interpretation or opinion, because I simply do not know. I am an insignificant creature, occupying space with a bunch of fellow insignific(ants).

I'm confident, that with greater unity, will come greater understanding.

Now I present to you all:

The visuals are interesting and so too is the narrative, but only in parts. To my ears, they keep saying they don't know shit and then keep developing speculations based on 'not knowing' lol. What is interesting is the fundamental axiom of a 'lifeless' Universe, ie one without consciousness. The content seems more like the 'frontiers' of mainstream scientific thinking than any real frontier.

An interesting discovery my friend and as you said to me in DM, doesn't really seem to 'add up'. There are also aspects of 'learned helplessness', of putting humanity in its insignificant little place, where we exist at best for 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% of the 'life-span' of the universe. In other words, we are helpless little specs of dust - we will evaporate like 'matter will evaporate' LMFAO.

I also do not like listening to the sound of Brian Cox's voice lol.

they keep saying they don't know shit and then keep developing speculations based on 'not knowing' lol.

I too, found myself conflicted with the narrative bro... For this exact reason. I'm happy to know I'm not alone with the reception LOL.

The content seems more like the 'frontiers' of mainstream scientific thinking than any real frontier.

Indeed, purely scientific, lacking in any recognition of consciousness of the of the universe, and where it would go in such a "lifeless" universe. This I see, as intentional, because science is not able to explain consciousness. As far as I know it isn't..

There are also aspects of 'learned helplessness', of putting humanity in its insignificant little place, where we exist at best for

Now why would they want us to think any differently ....? lol

Bro, I catch your drift, and totally share your perspective!! 😂

I also do not like listening to the sound of Brian Cox's voice lol.

Acceptance over things you cannot change.. Brian Cox finds a way bro, good luck keeping him away from your ear drums. I can understand why his voice might be perceived in an unpleasant way. It's not the most humble voice I've ever heard. He's a pleasant looking chap anyways.

All in all, the visuals were what really hooked me with this. The science is interesting as well, but my intuition tells me, science is lacking big time, because science works off of our limited constructs of perception. Or maybe better put, our limited perception has led us to using measurements and calculations, and our ego has led us to believe these measurements are "natures law". I'm not sure if that makes sense how I elaborated, but it makes sense to me.

@barge your comment was great man, I feel the same. I'm happy you derived some enjoyment from it, even while dealing with your friend Brian. ✌️😵
