I know it is a little bit early to write down my steem progress report for the month of June. But I will have to write it too early or too late! Tomorrow I will be leaving for a holiday and in contrast to last summer I won't be taking a laptop with me. So all the posting in the next couple of weeks have to be done via the mobile, and writing a progress report on a mobile device isn't actually a walk in the park.

That's why I decided to write it down too early, with 3 more days left in the greatest month of the year!

The numbers

June did start with owning 3893 SP and now with 3 more days left, I am already sure that I will end above 4500 SP. Just great. At the moment I was capable to increase the SP in June with 606 units. Not bad in my opinion. But I will slow it down! Later more about that!

Curation

Probably it will be another curation month over 20SP. The counter stands at 19.57, so it will be less than May where the curation did end with 21.99 SP. But I do consider each month above 20 SP earned by curating as a great month. I could have been more but I did increase the delegation to @ocdb and also delegated a shit load of SP to @steem.ninja (on the request of @daan). This is for a good cause so no complaining in the decrease of curation earnings! We can't have it all or can we?

Author rewards

In contrast to the curation figures the author rewards went up. There is an easy explanation for this. It just all depends on how much time I do use the @ocdb upvote service in a month. And for sure, how much steem I am willing to spend on that! I did use it 5 times already this month. And I am saving some liquid steem to use it a sixth time, this will give the payout for July a little push in the back!
Which also did help it that I did reach the 10K actifit threshold much more in June than in May. And every bit adds up!

Gambling

Most of my power up during the past month was gambling related. Well I decided to decrease my gambling activities. It is not that I will be stopping with doing this, but I did some calculations and it did cost me enough steem in the past months.
So instead of gambling to mine, I will be gambling for fun, which is of course a much better approach. This maybe means that the growth of the account will slow down a little bit but overall it will make crypto portfolio stronger!

Tokens all over the place

Well SCOTBOT is doing a great things, tokens are popping out of the ground like mushrooms at the beginning of fall!
The most important ones for me, where of course PAL and SPORTS! But both had a rough start!
Pal forgot the decimals, which made it a strange start. But the team acknowledged their fault and corrected it as soon as possible! I could have sold my airdrop PALs for a nice amount of Steem, but I decided to power it up all! Time will tell if this was a good decision!

SPORTS from @patrickulrich had a tough start because a loophole was discovered and exploited! He just wrote a post about how they are going to counter this effect. I was lucky enough to get 10 SPORTS from the airdrop. Also here I decided to refuse the offer of swapping it for around 70 STEEM and decided also to stake it all. #sportstalksocial is really a great addition to the steem blockchain!

But there is also a downside to all of this! My VP has dropped for the first time this year below 70%. It is slowly recovering, but I guess it will be hard to keep it above 80%.

July & Dolphinhood

Well July is always a slow month. Lots of people are on a holiday! The weather is great! And so on.
Also a my case a holiday will slow down my engagement. So I will be very pleased to be able to end the month of July with 4750 SP.
In my quest for dolphinhood I am making great progress. The initial goal in the beginning of the year was set on reaching the magical 5K SP mark at the end of the year! No doubt that I will complete that quest this year, but of course I do want it sooner than later.
So, let's set the target on the end of August!
