Good book. Fifty-word short story.
A book has got smell. A new book smells great. An old book smells even better. An old book smells like ancient Egypt. Ray Bradbuy

A man was taking a walk through the city there, visiting an old and sad building that seemed abandoned.
In its silent main room were empty tables with shelves of old books waiting for the neighbors.
Surprised aloud said with technology has lost the pleasure of reading a good book.

Oh, for shame. Books exist in pixels now. Pages are now electrons. Stories are embedded in the world's collective mind, unchained from the confines of a bounded stack of paper. And yet, we've lost something nonetheless, haven't we?
What if the old books will soon be museum pieces and therefore have more value as they have the Egyptian papyri. LOL
I hope he is wrong about that! 😁
Unfortunately the youth of these times no longer enjoy books as we did not even dream of the existence of the computer, that for those who have more than fifty. Now, from a young age, parents give their children a cell phone and the gift of a book is no longer important. Thanks for your comment @jayna
Not everyone. We buy books for our boys all the time. I would hazard a guess that they have 100 to 200 books between them.. They are 2 and 5... we read to them every night... it's very important in our opinion to sow that seed... But I appreciate your point.. we are likely in the minority and our kids do use electronic tablets too, so we are no saints either..
I really congratulate you as continuing to sow the seeds of good values in children in the near future will be rewarded. Thank you for giving your opinion on this hot topic. Receive my affections

Good job. I like the meaning (That I found, for that may not be anyone else's)here. Places are constantly being invaded by cell phones and computers. When was the last time you saw people out to have coffee with books instead of phones in hand?
I prefer a book to a computer screen unless traveling. The computer is better for that because of the weight.
Nice work.
