BOSS #4 - Tachibana Muneshige

Hi guys!

Today i'll continue to share with you some details and strategy tips about how to beat any boss in Nioh. Today we going to talk about Tachibana Muneshige - famous samurai of the Sengoku period in Japan.

In plot of the game Tachibana Muneshige was charmed by Edward Kelley's negative magic so he was forced to fight against William in mortal combat somewhere beneath ruins of Kuyushu region.

The whole fight with Tachabana Muneshige is quite simple - you have to play smart. As i said before, i'm playing with
tonfas and dual swords that both deals a lot of damage and got some interesting moves, for example Grapple with Tonfas and Dual Swords Block Penetration (when you hit your enemy from behind while your enemy blocking your atacks).

Muneshige has many atacks but the most dangerous of them all is Dance of Blades and Dash Slash.

Dance of Blades - 3 or 4 hits that potentially can one-shot you, so you better dodge it.
Dash Slash - very hard to dodge, deadly to block, the most annoying thing in this fight.

Personally i recommend you to learn Way of Onmyo Magic(specifically Sloth spell.) for this fight. Also watch Muneshige at the end of the fight cause he likes his bow and his arrows a lot.

In the second phase of the fight when Muneshige's HP will be less then 50% he will use Jumpning-Lightning-Slashing you. That thing also can one-shot you and put on you debuff that makes you slower a lot.

For me this fight was much easier than fight with Muneshige in sub missions later. He is much harder there than in main mission where we find him in those ruins. If you use Tonfas like me, you should use your low kicks to wipe out Muneshige's stamina. Also while he is blocking you and you got a lot of stamina, simply spam light atacks on him to break his defense and then just use your Grapple.

Don't forget to use your Guardian Spirit in the most dangerous moments. Your Spirit can absorb some damage and also can pump your DPS a lot.
