I just picked up the Tamron 24-70 G2. Keen to use it for a shoot this Friday. :) It's a fantastic piece of glass, and you've used it well here!
I've also got the 70-200 variant, and have been posting some of the work on my instagram and @holozaps account. :)
70-200 is a goodie but too bulky and heavy. And 24-70g2 is just perfect for its price!

It does weigh a ton. When I go travelling next year I'll only be taking the 24-70 with me, and maybe my 50 f1.4
I recently upgraded to a D750 (Nikon) and it's made me really happy. (Still have my old D7000 as it uses the same batteries).
My camera bag is getting very heavy with all the new, quality full frame glass.

Normally for the trip I have main body Canon 6D + Tamron 24-70G2 (thats for fashion whatever shoots) and crop Canon 7D Mark II + Tamron 16-300mm - its a killer for some street shots and whatever else you can shoot in a trip.. This long focal distance (counting x1.6 for crop) is just amazing comparing to lens size. Of course darker, but we have to sacrifice something always :)
