Open letter to the Block.one team
Dear Block.one team,
What happened this week is antidemocratic.
The whole community of EOS token holders should have been involved in reaching a consensus in the Brock Pierce case.
Any decision taken under a strong load of emotions and fear by a few is a bad decision.
The EOS democracy has lost for the first time, before it's launch. The mass media and the mainstream opinion has won.
The second bad decision Block.one has taken was the attempt to remove all the videos from the web in which Brock was appearing. This coarse attempt to make Brock disappear from the Block.one team history, like if nothing ever happened is ridiculous.
Should we systematically upload all the new videos edited by Block.one on D-tube to be sure nothing will disappear ?
I'm waiting for an official, transparent and honest communication from the Block.one team about what happened with Brock Pierce.
I do encourage Brock, even if he was already officially found not guilty by the US justice on this heavy moral case, to not stay silent and come out and speak to the community.
In my personal opinion, whatever Brock has done with this Hollywood mafia, let's not forget he was still a teenage in the 90 and very probably a victim of sexual abuses himself, trapped inside one of these vicious jet set ring. I want to believe Brock has deeply changed in 20 years and that he is now adult an responsible.
Let's not forget the high value, the vision, the total devotion and support Brock has brought to the EOS project.
Personally, I deeply regret this divorce and I thank you Brock, for your engagement. I hope you will come back soon.

support, there must be a community vote!
Niceness letter and I agree with you on my feelings about Brock. I think I half agree though because block.one is a company that we have no say over. They are just building EOS for us. Block.one has its own set of investors and VCs.
Again, I agree with you on my feelings about Brock and I think it’s really a loss for us.
I must agree we unfortunately have no voice for now.
Hope I did not piss you off somehow.
Absolutely not at all. My unsubscription has nothing to do with your answer or with the quality of your posts.
Till June 2018, I will exclusively focus on EOS and I'm trying to compile in my following list all the 100% EOS information sources.
Have a nice weekend. Thierry
Nice write up. Yeah I don't really know who to feel about the way Brock was removed. Maybe he was in on the decision too because he did not want there to be a fallout attack on EOS. I mean they really had the spot light put on them with this show.
I think you are also right about how long ago it was when all these shady things were going down around Brock. He has continued to do a lot for the crypto scene and it is unfortunate what has happened but EOS did what they felt necessary. I wrote a response to John Oliver the other day in a blog post here on steemit. Would be cool if you checked that out.
well, ok, but their attempt to remove those videos it is at least weird; you can not remove history... isn't this an important principle of blockchain? it is ironic the least. and yeah, blockone has its own owners and rules and it is not EOS but still I would expect a much mature action course on this matter. even though he would've been convicted which I understand he wasn't. feels like a wrong step to me considering what blockone are trying to build for the community/humanity.
disclaimer: I do not know much about Brock, I can't say I like or dislike the guy, although his discourse about his pink/rainbow wedding or whatever he was blabbering about it I found it quite weird.
You resumed my thoughts.
Very good response! Congratulation! Upvoted and resteemed!
