Patreos Alerts Community of Bogus Website
Spoofed site targets Patreos creative community
Patreos is alerting members of the Patreos community that an unauthorized website - which mimics the actual Patreos site -- has been detected. The scam website ends with .io instead of the official .com.
The company learned of the bogus site on April 2 and immediately took steps to notify all interested parties. Patreos is fully committed to the security of its site and, more importantly, to its users.
Patreos is taking all necessary steps to notify members via communication channels popular in the blockchain and EOS communities. It is also investigating the matter and will alert consumers if additional risks are found.
In the meantime, the company reminds users to visit only Patreos.com.
