Unless you are an experienced Crypto trader I do not recommend jumping on the EOS bandwagon.

Call it years of experience in the crypto space. I am not here to hodl your hand and sing Koombaya while promising your crypto bags will go to the moon.
What I Will Do with My EOS.
Within 72 hours of the Airdrop snapshot I will be selling every last one of my EOS. I don't care about the Airdrop. I care about profits. I will then buy back my EOS at a discount a few days later. Which will net me more EOS at a substantial discount.
The Outlook for EOS is Bright.
I am quite positive concerning the longterm outlook for EOS. Unlike most of the community I want to help you make an informed decision. Buy now and risk taking a 50% or more haircut in a few days or wait and pick up some post airdrop at a discount? What will you choose and why?

Everyone loves airdrop so bad that they may not see profit coming.

I completely agree with you. Unfortunately a lot of people will not profit from this because of FOMO and will not temporarily sell..
I already have over the minimum 100 EOS for the automatic airdrop. Does that mean that it shows up automatically as a separate token named EOSDac?

The video didn't say anything about how it shows up just that it's "automatic".
Well, we see a drop in eos price. However, it wasn't bloody one. Just a small correction about ~15% after gaining 40% and still getting the airdrop tokens. Not a bad at all
@hilarski, PLEASE answer this one, at what level do you roughly estimate that you can buy in again? I have trust in you but i think that eosdac was not the only reason for the climb. Would you set your buy-in at 20% less or even more?

Thanks for spreading the good word, Randy. There's definitely a lot of FOMO out there. Even though I'm involved in eosDAC, I'm not sure we have much to do with the price at all. EOS was holding really strong while so many other cryptocurrencies were tanking during this last correction. It was ready and waiting to pop. I think people see a correlation with the airdrop and then assume it's causation.
I'm also confused why people are buying eosDAC right now, when in a few days 900,000,000 tokens will start showing up for free in people's wallets. Sometimes the crypto markets are so irrational.
My daily reminder has been "Buy more EOS" because I still think it's undervalued at any of the prices it's ever been at. The more I dive into it (I've been really active the last couple of weeks), the more impressed I am with everything that is being built. I think for those who hold long term, getting EOS is a good idea. For traders, I think you're right, buying at the top of a FOMO run doesn't make much sense.
@lukestokes although I Love Randy I somewhat disagree with EOS dropping Big after the Air-Drop. If it does then I guess I could just add to the position that I am not TRADING anyway........................
I also believe in accumulating EOS. I am just worried about all the hype in Crypto groups. "Did you see the EOS move, better jump on board?" That stuff worries me and every Airdrop I have seen has the same outcome.
Will prolly do the same bro. Agreed that it will drop af. I just wish I had more time for trading these days!

I can’t believe airdrops are happening on WOS before it even exists. The current tokens are not real EOS tokens, just placeholders for the soon to be launched EOS blockchain.
I've got no problem with it. ERC20 makes it so easy to do.
That depends if you have to register ten different ERC20 tokens on the EOS blockchain after launch. Suddenly becomes less appealing!
How did I miss this? Another excellent example of why you should hold your coins in a hardware wallet not on an exchange.
