Clean and healthy environment

This is what I like to see, clean environment. Mumbai has been different this time in terms of its air quality. In Dec when I was here, city was filled with smog and the pollution level was high. It was winter then and it happens every year now since the past few years because of the extensive construction of high rises in the city. Every year when I am visiting in Dec, I end up with cold and cough and throat infection. For me it is the best time of the year to visit Mumbai since it's festive time, but environmentally it is the worst time.

Right now, the city is clean and breathable. The air is clear and I can make out the difference, the sky line of the city is clearly visible. In December I could barely see buildings a few 100 meters away also, they are all covered in smog.

Right now, the AQI is 44 which is in the green zone. Main pollutant is 2.5 8.0; this is the main thing that impacts health as it goes deep in to the lungs. Safe limit is 15 and the city is at 8 right now which is very good.

I am enjoying the good weather and clean environment of my city right now, and I hope it stays this way all the time.
