“Floccinaucinihilipilifacation. An inevitable result of an endeavor in this place. And just as pretentious as that word as, exhausting in its recondite sophistry, so is the project of being human.”
Well, it is indeed “a terrible joke” one can say for taking on the immortal word and making it unkillable/undying as well. Here-say, here-say, a gene must’ve been force-ejected, maybe they figured Franklin wasn’t truthful to his words, maybe this, maybe that. Yet here-say, here-say, they’ll make him a hero, a hero, for surviving such an endavor which is “a terrible joke” and still blame, blame!, the “Eternals” for doing what they do. Listen to me irk like some damned weird sister, but I know myself no soothsayer nor oracle of the Gods! But the “Eternals” still fight and fight to prove a thing so hidden in plain sight, that they’ve indeed have truly nothing to loose and everything to gain. Not because they don’t have anything to loose but because they cannot loose it thanks to a “terrible joke” that persists in the miasma. Indeed, I choke to even breathe this air, but yah can breathe it too, can’t yah? If so, here be me gas-mask and let us navigate through this “terrible joke” of which we cannot decide to laugh about or cry about for its terribleness. But, I do here a jester bell ringing; maybe a better joke will come about to dispell this “terrible joke?” No?
i think that worm is scarred permanently in my nightmares

It was not easy to write a story with condition and limitation of characters. And you did it with a fantastic story and funny too.. Asked for a cat ?? When I read it, i like What? With all the hostage, you just want a cat.. Then you covered the story with a story from a reporter, this was new for me on how you end the story. Wow, a person not dead after fall from 70 stories with a gun wound. That is silly. But i love it. It fun and i enjoy it.
You spend how long to finish this story because with a limitation of 1000-5000 words it made a story difficult to deliver. But you made it. Are you a writer?
