Should Education be Free in Canada? What do you Think?
Education is that material, which helps anyone to enjoy their life in different level. It covers all the aspect according to their field and helps them to get decent job and earn their livelihood in better manner. People can choose their stream according to their interest. Like science, commerce, medical. However, in modern era youth gives more importance to vocational programs like Tourism, Hotel management, Paramedical etcetera which helps them to grab the opportunity according to their interest.
However, we cannot ignore the cost of these programs for example a person who have more interest in research and development but he is poor with financially can lose the opportunity to establish themselves and choose his field. Now in global world question arises that should education be free for higher studies so that people can pursue their interest and contribute to country in any way.
Disadvantages of free Education in Canada
• College expenditure is more and government have to bear their large portion towards college.
• Costly technology can be used by different individual with no take care and it can increase the expenditure.
• If the education is free, students might not take the studies seriously and can lose their time and country growth.
• Maximum Canadian population is above poverty line and are employed so free education is not justified.
Advantages of free Education in Canada:
• Low income individuals can grab the opportunity to pursue their interest.
• Every person of a country can avail the basic education and high literacy rate in country
• Higher the educated person, know their rights towards their country
• They can contribute to country by paying taxes.
• Free education should provide the equal opportunity to their society.
• Economy of country arises, when everyone contribute to country after getting a decent job
• Everyone can easily focus more on their studies than payment of their loan on higher studies
In my opinion higher education should not be free because individual can spend their most of the time in studies because there is no cost for higher education. It can affect the growth of people, country and society. Youth is an important asset of country which helps them to generate their resources and I believe that everything should have some cost, it means that they can avail cost as a reward after achieving their targets.

I have to begin by noting that public education is anything but what those words claim. It is more accurate to call it government schooling. It is designed to create good workers, not free thinkers *.
Today's sudden onslaught of options has begun to render compulsory schooling to be nothing more than a relic. I think it is inevitable that this old system will not only fail but it is going to be replaced by options that will be far more robust, voluntary and peaceful.
That said, I do understand we have a long time to go until the majority of people understand this. There is a long history; a multi-generational culture that obedience and rote learning is the key to success.
