What does it take to Challenge our own Blind faith and Belief systems?
From the time we are born our conditioning begins. Firstly by our parents, then our teachers, the society, the social circles, religious institutions and it goes on all throughout our lives. Based on all of this we start forming beliefs and we start accepting things by the word of mouth or going by what we have read. Our general belief goes in the direction of masses. If everyone has accepted it, then it should be the correct thing.
Only if we fail in these set beliefs they get challenged else it is very difficult for us to accept the other side of it.
Almost everyday we are reading about death cases due to vaccinations, but still majority of the population still want to go with it. So what could possibly be the reason. And not only to this but for any type of belief.
Are we ready to believe that
- Vaccinations can bring harm to our Children
- Home schooling can be better than the private or government schools
- Alternative Healing therapies can work better than Conventional Alopathy treatments
- We can achieve success in life with ease and without struggles.
- Most of the Spiritual groups are scandalous and have hidden agendas
- If the majority accepts, it need not be necessary right
- Most of the Light workers are connected to the fake white light leading to delusion.

These are some very few at a very macro level, there are end number of beliefs that we have set just based on parenting, schooling, reading books and as per societal norms that can be reflected upon.
As per my experience goes, FEAR is one biggest aspect that stops in breaking our beliefs.
Once I was having discussion with my friends about vaccinations and I could see their resentment. They told me what if vaccine is not given and then if something happens to the child, then the parents will repent for life. The government's over a period of time have passed out these messages so strongly that without vaccines your children can die or contract illnesses. The lie has been sold again and again till the time it has been converted to a truth. There is a possibility that the child could die without vaccine, but for that there can possibly be other reasons.
Me and my Son have a lot of debates over these topics, so once we were arguing about home schooling. He in favour and me going with my old beliefs. I could understand what he was saying but I will admit that after listening and understanding to all his arguements I was still not convinced. My beliefs of traditional systems was getting challenged and I was getting into defensive mode just trying to prove my point. Though I understand it is good but I have still not accepted it.

The other major influence in our lives are the religious foundations. Someone once told me, we should fear GOD, and this is what is preached by their religious scholars. I think we should fear humans more than God. Why will God want to punish us. If we have difficult times or difficult life it is all our own doing and Karma. He is not a dictator trying to control us unlike we humans.
The recent day new trends are the Spiritual institutions. I have been a part of many of these and more then getting sorted I felt they were creating confusion. Everyone believed their practice is the ultimate and superior approach to the source. Most of them spoke the same thing twisting and turning with all different tones.
When any practice that has competition, trying to convince you into something, asking you to believe in it. How can they be genuine. The spiritual gurus are so unapproachable, only the rich and the famous can get through them. More than humbleness there is arrogance. So then why is there so much of a blind belief in them.
Most of these institutions are a trap, they lure you with very powerful talks preaching kindness, love, compassion, but as soon as you get into this trap you see their true colors.
There was an incident in one such globally very famous institution who preached about Love and Compassion. One of the lady serving there fell in love, the leaders there made her life miserable, she was traumatized to a level where she committed suicide. The whole incident was covered up. To think of it what type of Love messages are they spreading and where is the Spirituality here?
Prayers and Chanting is a good practice, but what if someone tells you. If you do not pray to God everyday you'll be punished or that you will go to hell. I would say cut the crap and mind your own business. There are times when I don't feel like praying and I never feel I get punished for that. My mom called me couple of days back. She prays everyday but she said since last few days she does not feel like and she feels guilty about it I had to tell her Mom relax, have a glass of beer and chill out. Pray when your heart feels like and not out of fear, there is no meaning to such a prayer.
I am a part of couple of these whatsapp group where they are selling some stuff branding it into Spirituality and Healing, and I clearly see how people blindly believe in what is told to them. The lady would sell anything in the name of spirituality and healing just for e.g. she sold pillow covers with Unicorns mentioning it will bring luck to the user, and people I believe are either so frustrated or stoned down with blind faith and beliefs that they buy it. If inanimate objects could change my life, I would have my house filled with it. Having them around gives a good feeling and makes a difference in the energy level for sure but they cannot change your life.
The only belief that is good and will work I feel is the Belief in Self and no other blind faith and beliefs will work.
FEAR of being abandoned, alienated, punished, being the odd one out all grips up to our beliefs. And if something goes wrong all the more our beliefs get strengthened. Things go wrong not because we did or we did not do that particular thing, it is the psychology that's working. Till the time we do not fully accept to break the belief we are still gripped in its power and subconsciously we are attracting the energies to work in the destructive direction.
Best is to be neutral. Keeping the mind open to new possibilities, accepting the challenges. Not being too concerned about the outcomes always.
Try challenging some of your set beliefs, see if you can take a neutral way and break through your beliefs.
I am working on it and I accept better outcomes for a better me.

A lot of people are controlled with their fear and some people are very aware of that, they even use it to their advantage. It is difficult to challenge our beliefs because every change is hard hihi, it is much easier to stay the same and not grow :D Thank you for a lovely read.
Ohhh yes, we so much like to be in our shell. Tje comfort zone is so cozy, unless we are challenged its difficult to break through.

Most spiritual groups indeed have a hidden agenda and it is blamed on the leaders where it is just rooted in money and power.
Homeschooling maybe good for the child and it depends on the parent if they can do it rightly.
Some natural medicine can heal diseases but not if it needs some kind of conventional approach then the latter is preferable.
Also, sometimes we do not have to follow the crowd because it may lead to troubles.
Viewing success in life is objective but if we are contented and make ourselves contented then it is a success in itself @nainaztengra

I agree with your sentiments. Blind belief to a religious power is something that millions of people over thousands of years have succumbed to. From ancient civilizations worshipping their Sun gods and sacrificing virgins to volcanos to modern day believers in billion dollar church conglomerates today, each has total belief that theirs is the one true way. There are just too many self serving factions that contradict their own stated values for us to ignore the fact that all these things are simply ran by humans, just like you and I. Belief in yourself and your own values is the only truth you can know.

Well, I can't say I agree with you on the vaccines bit, there's never been any credible evidence that they don't do exactly what they are intended to do. Polio, mumps, scarlet fever, HPV... It's not any bigger a deal than the flu shot, on a molecular scale. Same matter, different architecture... you know the drill.
But I'm in full agreement with pretty much everything else, so Win/Win. =)
Thank you @yestermorrow for your reflection. Again we are simply going with our own beliefs so I will never bucket out anything into right or wrong. I just believe that having a wider perspective over any matter can help us.
I honestly feel that people live in different paradigms, where what is true for one in their paradigm can be paradoxical to what is true to another in their paradigm. And the divisions just keep growing larger and stronger until we are splintered into totally different realities. I choose a more beautiful, engaged, tolerant world. I understand my privilege and luck allow me to do so and recognize that others are not so lucky. What reality brings those in the other paradigm to where they are? Can we have compassion, love and acceptance for those on the other side of the divide?

Thanks. Not always easy, but I am finding that with family and friends having patience pays dividends. Your family may not be ready to jump paradigms, but might meet you part way if you choose love and acceptance including flaws rather than making an ultimatum that they meet you where you are.
