More Choice Or Less Choice?" - 🎯ecoTrain QOTW, July 22 - 28.
I really missed an important topic and interesting topic for participation last week. Now another one that is relevant to everyone and I am sharing my thought on it
If anyone would like to know more about in detail about this please refer this link.
More Choice Or Less Choice?"
The question seems to be simple but it is right up to the top that might be a subject for many studies. I will try to put my perspective from how my life had experienced or how my thoughts has shaped up occasionally. I strongly believe the more choices are always creates an uneasiness in our thought process making hard times in selecting which one out of many choices. Its really hard to make a final choice when there are too many options to pick from.
While I am writing this on this very carefully crafted topic I am realizing that there had been many instances when I faced a dilemma like"What to choose from many". When we step into a shopping mall we experience it right from selecting the shop to enter first out of many furnished and maintained in extremely excellent standard displaying many choices of what we intended to purchase.
I remember many times walking across the corridors of the malls a from one end to another one of the street thinking about which shop would be the best choice for us. And once inside of any of the shop, then the next headache would start, forget about jokes on ladies regarding shopping, even men are not that far behind for finding a suitable stuffs that went for before spending hours with a confused mind. Not only on shopping, if we think for a moment even for selecting our food in buffets it normally be a teased affair than enjoying the different dishes. All these prove excess choices are always creates unnecessary burden which eventually leads to unhappiness.
And for less choices, will it be the opposite of the above, like pridictions of weather it may or may not be. But I believe people who are having no proper means of living like streetside vendors, beggars etc are found to be more happier with the less choice they have than the people in the opposite side of the social spectrum having affordable and different choices right at their disposal.
And also people rather homes or families staying in remote areas or villages with no malls, multiplexes but with small junctions and grocery shops are seems to be living in a happier environment than the people residing in cities and metros leading a luxury style life. So what we could consider here as that less choices have a happy living.
On a personal note, one of my wish or dream is to buy some Iand in a village or remote area, construct a hut (Not bighouse) like a farmhouse where the surroundings area unadultered natural beauty just for staying in between for few days from the heavy city life. Please note, it is just a dream since in my place no one need to pay tax for dreaming. (hehe, just kidding)

Theres certainly more simplicity in country living. And like you, more choice and more STUFF doesnt equate to happiness. A great, and well written, response.
Thank you my friend for being on the same side as with me on this choice of more or less. County living is more simple and the people too comparing with the selfish greed of metro ones.
Thank you dropping by, Cheers.

"I believe people who are having no proper means of living like streetside vendors, beggars etc are found to be more happier with the less choice they have than the people in the opposite side of the social spectrum having affordable and different choices right at their disposal."
