Got Free Will? Get Sovereign

 

Looking ahead to what may unfold in 2018?

We are spiritual beings having a physical experience. Everything arises from nothing. As within, so without. Making heart-centered choices and helping others enjoy spiritual sovereignty plants our feet on the new earth. We may have fought our way through personal pain, spiritual fog, and unconscious relationships to have the free will to live life according to these particular beliefs.

Yet does being spirituality sovereign deepen our connection to every day reality in grounded and specifically life-affirming ways? 

What free will choices will you make this year? How will you be sovereign in 2018? 

We hear a lot about having free will. What does our having free will or spiritual sovereignty add up to?

Every day we make big and small decisions -- our choices. These moments of exercising free will choice are investments we make into larger dynamics over extended timelines. How do free will choices shape our individual timelines as well as the moving streams of time through which we live as a collective?  

The timeline known as the Depression eventually led to the timeline known as the post-war era, World I or World War II (take your pick) and these timelines converged into a timeline of superpower nation domination in the nuclear age. Superpower nations make sovereign claims and saber rattled to uphold positions of dominance throughout the globe. Superpower sovereign claims led to more war -- overt war in Vietnam and covert war in countries like Nicaragua and Ecuador -- where the idea of free will was shredded for people just like you and more, people who scramble from day to day just to live indoors, feed and clothe themselves and their children. 

How do these past timelines impact your free will choices today? How has the notion of having free will impacted your family in its last two generations? Did your grandfather serve in the military? Did your grandmother go to work in a factory to support your mother or father while a husband or brother went off to the trenches? Your grandmother may have exercised her free will and asserted her independence by working outside the home but did your grandfather or an uncle have the  free will choice whether or not to further the sovereign claims of superpowers like Great Britain, China, America, or the former Soviet Union? Or whether or not to 

In 2018, regional war and conflict continue throughout the world. Nuclear superpowers still claim their right to assert national sovereignty on the global stage. How do your free will choices play into national sovereignty, and do you gain 'sovereignty' by osmosis if you live, work, and play in a superpower sovereign nation?

What free will choices matter the most to you? What free will choices have been taken away from you without your knowledge or consent in the last ten to twenty years?  Do any of the choices that have been made by others for you impact both your sovereignty and your free will? 

The answer is yes. 

For example, in 1998 I could arrive at an airport for an international flight and check in one hour before departure. Both my sovereignty and free will have been impacted and without my consent when I am required to go through the airport screening processes which are a huge imposition and enormous waste of my time.  Not to mention having face care products or self-care products such as Arnica gel confiscated because on screening agent says the limit is 3.6 fluid ounces but another says the limit is 4 oz. 

Institutional memory is CRITICAL when it comes to being aware of the free will choices and or sovereignty you no longer have.

Today, handwriting isn't being taught in school. Your voice is unique. Your fingerprints are unique, And so is your handwriting!

Ask yourself why handwriting is no longer considered necessary. Ask yourself why, as more and more people text and email, our unique physical voice and handwriting are being removed from our greater collective reality? 

Do you know the true extent of your free will choices and options as a sovereign being born in any given sovereign nation state? Is having free will the same as being sovereign human being? What about citizenship? 

From 2018 on, being informed about your choices and having a connection to institutional memory matters more than ever. Maybe it's time to pay closer attention to your free will choices still available to you and how being 'sovereign'  may mean drawing a line in the sand so that the free will choices you have will exist in the future. 

Research the Patriot Act. Writ of Habeus Corpus. FISA Court. If you live in the United States, research ho your federal representative, Congress person and Senator voted with regard to extending FISA Court current provisions. 

In 2018, will we ask more questions about sovereignty, free, and spiritual beings having a physical experience? Will we take these questions into our daily meditation practice? How will we bridge our spiritual practice if we have one with our free choices in the arena of politics, economics, health care, and having the free will choice to get a public education? Or for women to experience being completely sovereign in our bodies? Will we choose to bridge our spiritual experience with using our free will to vote and make sure our voting rights are inviolate? Will we choose to act at a granular level in our local communities to expand our free will choices and uphold our personal sovereignty?

Our free will choices spin our fates, good or evil, never to be undone.
