Something like a continuation of the last two non drug wars post. So the museum I visited in the Hague also has a nice collection of Dutch and Chinese porcelain. Little known fact is that a lot of antique Chinese looking porcelain was produced in the Netherlands around the 16th century. Because that is much cheaper than shipping it from like 6 seas away. Apparently no other European nation was able to do this so the Dutch were a bit like the master copiers of their age. :o)
Just to illustrate this can you tell which one is Dutch and which one is Chinese in the image below?

yea you are correct!
I am not sure if I can tell which one is Asian based on the style. But you can actually see it from the blue used. In the Netherlands they use the famous Delft's blue which is a lighter blue compared to the Chinese blue.
As long as it's not Yves Klein blue I'm fine with it ;)

It is the other way round :o)
Chinese porcelain blue is darker than Dutch porcelain blue :o)
