Anne Sacoolas is "devastated" she killed a 19 year old boy and fled prosecution in the UK.

In August, Anne Sacoolas struck and killed 19-year-old Harry Dunn with her car in Northamptonshire, England. Sacoolas, the wife of an American diplomat, fled to the United States and is claiming diplomatic immunity from British prosecution. On September 5, Britain requested that the United States return her; the U.S. government declined eight days later. Prime Minister Johnson and Foreign Secretary Raab have been pressing U.S. officials to reverse the decision.

President Trump and the National Security Adviser invited Dunn's grieving parents to the White House for a meeting yesterday. Expecting they would get a chance to make their case in person, they were instead told that Mrs. Sacoolas was in the next room, and would they pose with her and President Trump in front of the press corps?

They declined and left.

Diplomatic immunity has been abused for years but I think we're starting to hit new lows. Don't try to catch a falling knife as they say.
