RE: To lovers of Table-tops, both real and virtual....Introducing DungeoneersGuild!
We currently focus on D&D5e and have a collaborative campaign setting, built largely through play, that we would like to continue exploring, and continue to have players, characters and DMs joining in various ventures.
It is our aim to also gradually develop and facilitate a means to truly value & appreciate character and world development, while also uploading our setting to the blockchain and allowing it to eventually be played anywhere.
But wait, there is more. It is also our hope that games played on the setting do not have to be played in isolation, and we are drafting a model whereby valued outcomes could be integrated into 'world possibilities' for players who not necessarily caused those 'valued outcomes'.
We are also trying to build a framework which allows easier collaboration with creatives, by using a 'greater than the sum of its parts' approach to creative assets. It is our hope to disrupt the idea of having a completed and static image that a single artist is paid for, and rather substitute that for a creative process where many amateurs or experts are involved in a creative process gradually realizing, and adapting to a changing world, or a developing #LivingCharacter and indeed a living setting.
The hope is that at each stage of artistic iteration, the community, crowd and player has the option to value the concept, thereby incentivising collective creative contribution rather than a typical 'buyer seller' model whereby only those who 'can pay' and 'know an artist' can get character art.
We do if anything have too many ways in which we want to become a #borderlessGuild and if one thing should be made clear, it that the progress is largely conducted at 'hobby speed', and yet a growing trickle...
