Could you please please please kindly spend 3 minutes of your valuable TIME to encourage and support others to grow with Dtube ?

“We Rise by Lifting Others”

First, I would like to express my sincere appreciation for every little contribution that you’re making to Dtube ecosystem.

As a part of taking the first step towards creating DtubeFoundation, I’m focused hunting those maximum 777 individuals for our DtubeFamily from within our Steem world and outside our steem ecosystem.

In this DtubeSnapPlus Vlog, I wanted to kindly ask every single person who’re involved with Dtube ( content creators, contributors, collaborators ) to make the following 3 minimum contribution to our Dtube ecosystem.

One
This is a compulsory contribution!!!

Leave 7 unique comments in any given 24 hour period in 7 other Dtuber’s contents. Make sure at-least 3 of those comments are meaningful to the content creator’s Dtube journey. And this should only take less than 3 minutes to do. I’m sure you can give 3 minutes of your valuable time to your DtubeFamily. Please Please do not limit your comments to only for your Friends and please reach out and make new international friends!

To make this easier I’ll be Resteeming tons of Dtube contents per day and you’ll just need to pop into my profile and spend your valuable 3 minutes. And I’m willing to do anything and everything to make sure that you don’t spend more than 3 minutes making this contribution to our Dtube ecosystem.

Also feel free to unfollow me if my Resteeming spamming your Steemit Feed.

Two
This is compulsory only if you’re creating contents on Dtube

Do not create more than one Dtube content in any given 24 hours. In other words please create maximum one content in any given 24 hour period.

This is a way of showing respect to the Dtube platform and more importantly respecting people who involved with Dtube.

Three
This is a kind request to anyone who’re creating contents with Dtube to respond to all the human comments before uploading a new content. I guess it’s common sense because you must always appreciate people who’re taking their valuable time to consume your content and leaving feedbacks.

If you don’t treat your customers then you’ll loose the lifetime value that customer brings to you.

Thank you so much for taking your time to watch my content and I truly appreciate each and everyone who’re contributing to Dtube ecosystem.

Thank you so much in advance all the valuable feedbacks, suggestions, criticism, encouragements in the comments section below. And I’ll be showing my sincere appreciation with video response to all the human comments.

Thanks 🙏

I meant to write this comment sooner, but I've been busy. Funny story - yesterday I was listen to Gary V content. I took a break and I opened @partiko app and saw your post. I read your description and saw a link and thought to myself: "I wonder if this is a link to Gary V" and guess what, it was hahahahaha

I do agree with @kenanqhd it will take a bit more time to watch the videos and to comment meaningfully, but I think the overall idea of just encouraging people to talk is on the right path. (this comment took much longer than 3 minutes, but it's meaningful and genuine)

I think even with @dtube being a small community and my short time here you can see their are clearly people that spend more time on here than others. Honestly It's super easy to not interact at all on dtube outside of posting your videos and leaving, especially if you're busy. Even finding the time to leave this comment for me today took all day because I'm so busy creating content (outside of dtube as well) and spending time with wife and kids and all the other priorities of life.

I 100% agree that people should limit the video uploads. I think it's a little much to see 3 or 4+ videos in 24hr span. In most cases all those videos could be in 1 video. People have limited resources to vote with and if you post a lot of videos in a short time you end up milking that resource often. I think if community members focused on making 1 really good video a day vs multiple it would elevate the quality of content on here and bring new users in.

I'll be honest, when I first found Dtube it just looked like a lot of spam and re-uploads and I had to look through a lot of videos to find what I'd call "quality content" but I'm glad I did. Their is potential here, it's just what does the community want to do and are people actually going to make an effort or just pay lip service and continue on.

Hopefully enough people see this

Love the effort and intuitive brother.

Your meaningful comment deserves a video response David!

Thank you for the reply man. I hear ya

I can't believe I said Toronto in the video response! It's Vancouver and my apologies..

Most importantly ...
I realise that when I leave this video response I should provide the complete text version as well because it's more effective to read than watch. Now I'm learning how to include the "Open transcript" from my YT response add the text format.

Super excited for all the new features that we can add to our Dtube as we move forward and come up with new innovation within Dtube!

Thanks again for be part of our DtubeFamily and Have a wonderful week :)

Thanks a lot for thinking well about what is better for dtube. I will do my best to comment even more than I'm doing now. You are right that we should't only support our friends and communities we are a part of. Limiting the creation to only 1 video per 24 hours will really help everyone.

  1. The curater of dtube including communities leaders and our 777 family.

  2. Do our best to create a quality video in that 24 hours.

  3. Saving our time and energy to comment and resteem and curate others.

  4. Keeping the feed of others clean.

  5. Letting @dtube give better upvotes.

  6. Finding abusers and spammers easier to everyone, especially to @dcleaners .

  7. Showing newcomers that we are organized, respectful and wanting the best for the platform we care about.

I hope that will improve our dtube journey and we will be all happy, connected and empowered. ☺

Clix, Your valuable comment deserves a video response and I want to show my appreciation!

You are welcome. It's a pleasure. ☺

This is fair initiative that will hopefully push more engagement. Though, I am not literally going to do 7 comments as I don't want to be forceful with my comments. I understand the point you are making, be more diverse with your commenting instead of close Steemian Friends. Take time to consume content and not just produce it. Personally, I might comment on 2-3 new DTubers that I haven't interacted with before instead of focusing on 7 comments. Yet, I might end up with 7 comments in 24 hours. Who knows?! Hahaha

Engagement is as important as the content creation. As you said, how can you expect people to watch your content (unless it's super engaging and interesting) without engaging not only on your content's comments, but other people's content. It's stimulates a more interactive community and despite what the mVest says about distribution of Steem wealth, a collective community can have a bigger voice. That's the beauty of it!

First of I really appreciate taking your valuable time to leave this meaningful comment.

I’m currently studying AirBnb’s business model and focusing on building strong community here with Dtube.

As Airbnb had Host and Guest, we’ve content creators and content contributors here on Dtube. At this early stage with Dtube, we want everyone to grow with us.

As I per our previous conversation in my last content, I’ve big vision for Dtube and I’m laying down a proper foundation for the future of Dtube and the DtubeFamily777.

Thanks again for your contribution to dtube ecosytem and every little contributions by many make huge impact on everyone’s journey:)

You're welcome Nathan! Thank you for your reply! The AirBnB business model is a good one to study and take examples from. Unfortunately, there are some backlash to learn about as one end you have regulators from different nations banging on Airbnb's door (kinda like how people say crypto should be more regulated and is restricted and/or banned in certain countries) and on the other side you have those who blame Airbnb for changing their neighborhoods.

It's good to take example from previous proven business models and adapt them to your vision of DTube Foundation. Very exciting times!

P.s. sent you an invite on Discord to connect :)

We don’t need to reinvent the wheel to build something new.

Facebook used Ebay’s Business model. Litecoin used Bitcoin’s.

Uber used AirBnb’s business model. We’ll find a business model that best fit for Dtube and it’s a process and as We’re willing to make mistakes and learn from it, the only way is UP!!

Regulators have to protect laggards from Invention and technology. Innovation have completely redesigned our culture time and time again. Things that were once inconceivable now feel like the very things we can’t live without.

I send you a response on Discord. Talk to you soon:)

Too true Nathan! Yes speak on Discord 😊

I feel you have been watching how I have been commenting. I do this, it is the most successful means to gain subscribers and make new relationships. Network Network, Network! I will make a video speaking about this, I was planning on it before you posted this, we must be on the same wave length right now. 3 minutes, haha, I spend at least 1 hour a day curating and commenting and that is being very conservative. I'm in denial of my addiction. :) Powered up over 1100 steem in the past 4 days. Going for Dolphin. I will not sell my SP for less then $100.

Yeah all my free time is spent reading, watching, commenting

Wow to the powering up
I powered up too but nowhere close to yours 😁

The steps that you are taking and helping other Dtubers is really something that we need. As communication between users can make the platform of Dtube grow .

The engagement is indeed a necessity for a user to show that the existence of cooperation of his/her towards a content creator. "Whenever a comment drops on the comment section it really feels like I have made sth which allowed users to be here". Which really acts as a motivation and allows to move forward with more pace.

Trying the best to make proper usage of the responsibility of being a part of Dtube and we are with you and keep the flow going and lets make something great out of it.

Thank you for the inspiring words of yours.

Rehan, your encouraging comment deserves a video response and I want to show my appreciation for your constant efforts in building strong dtube community

I am glad to be a part of the family and yeah lets keep marching and grow together !!

I understand what you are trying to do here. Just want to say that writing 7 comments may only take 3 minutes out of the day, but you also have to watch the videos too lol. That is definitely going to increase the time it takes to write 7 relevant comments.

I will try to do this everyday but I hope people don't write comments just for the sake of writing comments; even if it sounds meaningful and "engaging". One thing that everyone should understand is that writing comments that are not genuine and/or full of "empty" words also make a platform look bad.

If you don't have much to say about a video after watching it, maybe "nice video" is all you need to say. It's not engaging or constructive, but it is better than being fake by unnaturally trying to engage with others.

"I will try to do this everyday but I hope people don't write comments just for the sake of writing comments"
No, they really don't. That would not make sense. They mostly do it for attention/visibility and money.

"One thing that everyone should understand is that writing comments that are not genuine and/or full of "empty" words also make a platform look bad."
You are right. Steemit is a perfect example for this. Just see the "nice post" and other spam and spam-like comments under many posts.

"If you don't have much to say about a video after watching it, maybe "nice video" is all you need to say."
No, you don't. You really don't. That is the same as the above mentioned meaningless "nice post" comment.
If you don't have anything nice, funny, constructive, positive to say, then don't say anything.
If you like the video/post/comment, but you can't/unable to or don't want to express your opinion with words, then just upvote the video/post/comment.

"It's not engaging or constructive, but it is better than being fake by unnaturally trying to engage with others."
No, it is not better. Saying "nice video" or "nice post" is actually being fake by unnaturally trying to engage with others.
Or to be more precise, faking/pretending engaging with others.

Thanks for a valuable feedback.

You’ve good skill to put your point of view in nice summary.

I’ll try my best to say my opinion.

  1. Dtube is a small ecosystem right now
  2. I personally know most of the people whose commenting and I developed a relationship with my fellow Dtubers
  3. As much as appropriate valuable comments and I appreciate a comment like “nice video” given that I know this person

Dtube is like family and we wanted to build that way and we’re creating foundation to create our own culture.

Lol I hadn’t even thought of that 😂 I watch a lot whilst I’m at work or on the bus though so it’s all good 😜

I don’t give any description of my videos now to make it harder for people to comment without watching

If you consider content creation as business then you’ll focus on trying to deliver great value in short period of time without customer not having to go through your entire content.

Just think why Twitter is successful and also remember that we live in 2018 where people don’t have much time

I don’t think content creation should be treated as a business, you can have a business creating content but if when you create it you look at it thinking only of financial gain it becomes devoid of feelings and ruins your content. Hollywood is run as a business but yet they put so much effort into cinematography and building an entire world for the viewer.

EVERYTHING IS A BUSINESS..

From the internet..
For years, I have challenged my students to identify something, anything that isn't a business. If I can't prove them wrong, then I will, out of my very limited, personal funds, buy lunch/dinner for everyone in their class.

To clarify, I identify "is" as "could have been a business in the past, is currently a business, or could be a business in the future." "Business" is defined simply as "an exchange of value" - it doesn't have to be money, although that is the typical form of value exchange in business.

Thus far, I've never had to buy anyone any food. I am increasingly confident in my assertion. Because, at the end of the day, EVERYONE -- regardless of what their major, aspirations, wealth, talents, or potential -- needs to understand business.

To exchange values you need minimum two parties.

Airbnb has Host and Guest.
Uber is a technology platform. Our smartphone apps connect driver-partners and riders.
Ebay is similar.

With Dtube we need not just content creators but also content contributors and we need to focus on implementing our new innovations and continue to add new features that make these two kind of people connect easily.

First step is to having quality and passionate people with Dtube and I'm focused on bringing quality people to our ecosystem.

When Airbnb started out they focused on building strong travel community not bringing high quality listing first. With their review system they provided unique travel experiences.

If you really want to understand where I'm going with this then you need to study AirBnb business model.

Have a wonderful week :)

Oh right got ya, I thought your meaning was to sacrifice quality in searching for something that will sell more of it. I see so many people making videos where they talk about improving their editing or videos in general, yet nothing has changed.

If it’s an exchange of value then I’m all for it. My meaning was if people just focus on getting more followers or money then the quality of the content never gets any better and people will always just put out awfully shot videos & never improve. That’s why YouTube & Instagram are huge because they have creators that are passionate about making top quality content.

I appreciate your valuable comment bro!

I completely understand where you're coming from. My focus is to increase the number of contributors to DTube and as with time most people will play different role within DTubeFoundation.

Please wait for my next few initiatives where I'm planning to make sure that as a community we support each other to create valuable content that's on demand.

Looking forward to seeing these initiatives my friend 😀

Thank you for your valuable feedback brother!!

I’m asking everyone to make 7 comments and only minimum 3 comments have to be meaningful.

We do not need to consume the full contents in order to comment unless if we find value in watching it. Also as a content creator everyone most consider other people’s time and try to best describe video contents summary in the text format.

So I do think it’s possible to leave 7 comments in 3 minutes.

When we leave comments, we learn , we teach , we improve and most importantly we build a long lasting relationship with another human being.

All the Fake people are leaving Steem because of the price and true believers are here and my mission to create a culture that set some minimum standards for everyone who involved with Dtube.

Always appreciate you constructive feedback and I’m learning lot from you.

Thanks for the clarification! I feel bad when I don’t watch all of someone’s content before I comment and so often I’m not able to watch and comment. so that helps :)

You're most welcome darling!!

Always appreciate your contribution to our DTubeFamily777!

hi dear Nathan ! I think it's a very good idea & initiative, but people have to play the game honestly and positively (I'm not suggesting that some people don't do it ;)

I engaged with some people who produce posts that really interested me (I am very open-minded, but like everyone else, I have my preferences :) I hope most of the people understand that and don't do that like a "homework" to "play" the game, dropping "nice post/vidéo" Anyway, we know that this is not what works and is interesting for both parties, the content producer and the viewer ! Also to make that well, I mean interacting positively, it took me way more than 3 minutes ;)

Hope everything is good for you !
Happy Sunday ;)

I'm so sorry for late response and I appreciate you taking your time to leave a meaningful comment my friend :)

Please contribute what you can. I can see that you're very open-minded!

I do not like telling anyone what to do and how to do. But it's only a kind request to people who involved dtube make little contributions to our ecosystem.

Like @cleanplanet project if everyone clean our planet one minute a day and makes huge impact :)

I truly appreciate your 3 minutes and your contributions to our Dtube community :))

Have a wonderful week !!

hello dear @nathanmars ! No problem, as you can see, I took a long time to answer too !

I'm preparing a short presentation video for Dtube, I hope to have it finished for the coming days ;) Also, I wanted to tell you that I will follow you with my second account (@swapfuture) rather than with this one, it is the one I use more for the cure;)

See you soon and have a good weekend !

@anttn

I’m excited to watch your Dtube presentation!’

Followed your second account:)

I appreciate your contribution to Dtube :)

Thank you for your nice comment !

I hope not to disappoint your impatience !

Have good week !

Firstly, thank you to you for valuing our time and only set it to 3 minutes

But I am quite slow so I will need more than 3 minutes but I am fine as have committed to it since beginnjng before I joined Dtube. Now need another more minutes to engage with Dtubers, and it will be a rewarding journey. I wish to be able to engage with 10 minimum or 20 maximum so I have a target to set unless it is a family day that day. Lol... Then I will be engaging alot with my children.

So, hearing from you - leaving 7 comments - it helps alot to realise it is something feasible for most of us.

We shall see everyone grow together if we all do this.

💪👌😊

Thanks for taking your time to leave a valuable comment!!

Let's not focus on the number and let's not limit our comments only to our close friends.

Let's do this and Let's grow together :)

💪👌😊

Let's! 😎😁

i really like the idea of getting outside our ‘circles’. it’s really easy for me to comment on content from people i know and follow religiously.

but stepping outside our comfort zone is a great thing to do.

great idea man and thanks for pushing me to get outside my comfort zone.

The people who joined last december mostly came for money.

The new people are coming in now are joining Steem/Dtube for the long term and for the right reason.

If one new customer walk into my business and I'll make sure that customer felt welcomed and I did everything I can do make sure that customer is satisfied with everything before they leave.

Steem has become a place for bots and auto voting and auto curating and a place to dump any contents and I do not want this for DTube. So we're focusing on bringing quality of people and having some culture in dtube ecosystem.

Let's always put people before content and DtubeFamily and DtubeFoundation will always put eople before content!!

Hello @nathanmars, I'm completely agree with those three factors of contribution and I'm currently make only one Dtube content within 24 hours. Yep I have ability to make normal video response to Dtubers. I decided since yesterday I engage at least 15 contents creator's blogs. It think it's better advantage for improve Dtube community. I'll most try to follow your three steps as you told here. Thanks and we have responsibility to make Dtube Revolution.

Thanks for your continuous contributions to our DtubeFamily and I truly appreciate your efforts :))

You're being a role model for others and keep up your great work!!

Please remember these are not a rules but it's a kind request to my DtubeFamily!
