this is my response.
Question 1:
1 year from now on I don't think much will have changed. But in 5 years exponential growth I think we will see insane growth effects. Mainly because we are inside of an exponential industry and that video is the medium people love to consume the most. And that DTube basically has 0 competition at the moment in terms of the Internet Crypto video industry.
Question 2:
People will play the role of empowering themselves and learning how to communicate their ideas in an effective way to a global society. With the video format. As this is a very new niche the personal brand approach. Started to become a bigger thing around 2014-2015. Spokes people will be a highly in demand niche. People that can explain things to beginners or even experienced people. Video creators becomes the modern news anchors. The How To guides, the Explainers and so on.
Question 3:
The crucial thing will be to make it Easier and Faster to be able to make videos and upload them. Removing all the friction. To save in on every single second. Also to design an even more smooth interface. For example video responses below a video. Be able to tag a video in a cool way in a comment. Let's say to micro snaps to a larger video. Ideally it would be epic if every comment could have a small video attached to it. Making it more useful than YouTube. Doing everything that YouTube doesn't do. Especially caring more. Listening to people more. And so on.

I want to answer your questions free from my hips so let's get started:
I see dtube in 1 year as a bigger and still rising platform for video content creators and engaging community members who are participating in the comments / with resteems.
I think there will be also some interactions / integrations with other dapps and platforms as they all use our lovely steem blockchain.
Also I see a possibility to embed dtube videos in other parts of the internet and a well working mobile app.
We are playing already the main role here on dtube. We are and will start challenges / contests / movements like #dtubesnap, #dtubesnapplus, #dtubesnapQ, #knowme just to note some of them here. We are the drivers of that platform. dtube is our tool and we find new ways to use it in our life.
I think it is crucial that dtube is decentralized on the decentralized blockchain to keep us as content creators free from any pressure from above. I am here because I own my content and just I can maniulate or delete it from the blockchain and to be consistent also dtube needs to be decentralized (and open source :P)

People comment on this platform and then share that video with their account and prefer good content. They present through the video. They are earning a lot of things. There are currently some users who have a very good stage. Of course, we will also go one day.
