Is my wife going to KILL ME for cleaning? | Vlog #8
My wife has gone away and asked me to clean the house. Like SteemCleaners taking out the trash, so did I. Nothing went to waste with anything of value going to the Salvo's. This is the start of only living with the things we value the most. She's probably not going to be impressed to start with but she'll understand when she sees how nice the place looks and how a minimalised lifestyle grows on you once you break down mental barriers of collecting unnecessary 'stuff' :)

😂😂😂😂
Mate, you're so smiley I can't help but giggling when I watched the video, only from seeing your smiles 😂
We love laminating the kids arts btw, because those papers always crumpled
Thanks @thekitchenfairy! I've been through my ups and downs and now I choose to stay up as much as possible 😄 Yeah we should totally get a laminator! They'd even probably stick on the wall better too I'd imagine!
It's so true. There's something about minimalizing your life that gives you happiness. There's a saying that be careful about how much stuff you own, because it eventually owns you. For me it's to the point where I almost don't even like Birthdays or Christmas anymore, because stuff just clutters up my place and with presents you can't really get rid of them (until like a year later at least).
Wow @thunderbirdcomic that is exactly spot on! I think many people are undergoing a fundamental shift in the way we live and what's truly important. I totally understand about Birthdays and Christmas, both of which recently passed and I asked for nothing. I did get 'things' on Christmas, most of which I've barely touched (but thankful for the gesture) and for my birthday I got nothing and was totally content. Just to have my family with me is enough.
