in #dtubedaily6 years ago (edited)

Hey Steemians, in today's episode - I give a tour of a pachinko parlor, and talk about what 'Internet Cafe' means in Tokyo.

As always, this is a Dtube exclusive, so if you liked the video, please go to bed early!

It does kind of remind me of the Vegas scene with the lights, sounds, and "activities" you describe. Thanks for the tour about Tokyo.

Not too different from the slot machines, just a lot louder. I used to stop at Indian reservation Casinos before and after camping trips for the cheap and abundant food, and the slot machine areas had a similar cacophony, just constant nondescript sound of melody, bells and what have you.

what if i say tokyo is best for all for his good internet and amezing history?

This is fascinating @maneki-neko. That's a crazy pachinko story there that they fake the winners. I wouldn't be surprised if that happens in vegas too. And the inside of that parlor just seems like madness haha.

Is it just me or is Tokyo like the future of where the "modern big city" is evolving into?

That is ESPACE at Shibuya right?
Well I do know quite abit about Pachinko. The story you gave is not true. In a pachinko parlour, nobody cares if somebody else is winning. Everyone is fixated on his/her own game. Unlike a western casino, where crowds start to gather when you are winning (a jackpot for example), it just doesn't happen at a pachinko parlour.
Thanks for sharing!

Ah yes that seems to be the case doesn't it!
Just was telling a story I had heard, from a friend, thanks for your comment!

No worries!
Now you heard another story from me, your new friend! :)
