Man oh man, it's frustrating I know.
The only reason you might want to continue such a "conversation" for, is for people who are onlookers.
But there is a time when enough is enough I agree.

At some point you just have to realize there's no communication happening and give up.
I was ready to just keep going as long as it took, but there was that sudden realization, when the same objections kept being expressed, that this wasn't going anywhere. Everything had been adequately addressed... and dismissed. It was time to go do something else.
