Another Attempt at Aerial Photography - Drone Footage From Schweitzer Mountain Ski Resort

Here's another short clip of my attempt at aerial photography with my drone, a DJI Mavik Pro. This was taken the other day while the majority of the family were on the slopes at Schweitzer Ski Resort in Northern Idaho. You can take a look at the posts by @fullofhope Snowboarding- First time! As you'll see, I have a lot to learn, but as I said in one of my previous posts, I'm posting this to at least make record of my progress.

I will also say, that buying a drone in the winter, well, I am not sure how well this plan was thought through. When I launched the drone on this day, it immediately gathered a lot of attention, so I had to answer all sorts of questions and by the time the curios on lookers had subsided, my hands were frozen. You have to have bare hands in order to control things on the touch screen, and yes, I know there are supposedly gloves out there that will work, but they don't, I've tried a few and they just don't work. You can fly with gloves, but you can't affectively take good photos and video without controlling several features on the touch screen.

Let's just say that I'm looking forward to the progress I'll make once it gets warmer. But, don't fret, I'll be making many more attempts even though it's killer on my hands.
