Steemit Open Mic #117 - 'New' Music #8 - Bad Party Game
My first Open Mic. Hello family!
Doing something a bit different. On the spot improv. to spice it all up a bit.
Yes, I'm a song writer. Yes, I develop material. This is for fun as I like to illustrate how easy it is to sing things to music. Write something down, play a chord, start singing. Wow! You've got some music.
Just so it's clear! Music is NOT a competition. If I ever constrict my expression with the feeling of competing it is exactly the opposite of the energy I need to culture in order to express myself and create. I avoid competitive music environments. Music is a flow, a sharing, a community and a key to authentic expression. Musicians are channels. Music in Sufism is in itself a spiritual discipline! Competitive society has us locked down in cages fighting against one another and calling it self expression. This pathetic individualist egocentric belief in fame has drained our innocence and caused us to use it as a whip for our own self-torture. EGO-FASCISM!
Let's stop and breathe a moment.
On another note, by the way...
On the 21st of this month I released an EP with my ethno-western music project called Kelebek Evrimi (Turkish for butterfly evolution). We recorded in a studio in Skopje last October (Thank you Evitsa!). You can find a free download here: www.bus21.net
Thanks a bunch for listening.

I did put it as first tag but dTube changed it so I edited it.
I also included the youtube link in the post here now.
All the best,
