The inspiration for this song was from a poem written by my good friend Scott Bonadonna, which I heard music in and he let me add a few lyrics to it, to create this ♥♥♥ ♥♥♥ A Plea To The Artists...

Fine tuned skills so quickly lose,
While waiting on tomorrow's muse
The fiddle, the riddle, the kettle drum,
The softened touch of the painter's thumb
The passion, abstraction, the drive and pep,
The precise placement of the dancer's step

Apathy is the ever increasing problem in the decay of "civilization" and the artist are the first to be depreciated since "society" has such low regard for the arts and too much regard for the $ and those who flaunt and chase after riches in obscene displays in pop "culture" Your plea is much needed and well performed. Loved it. \m/
Yes, indeed now it feels to me that we may be hitting rock bottom with the arts, and like you say, Pop, and of course "modern" art, how much further can we fall? Will we scrape the bottom for a while still? It seems that the more and more shallow art becomes...there has to be an end point where humanity wakes up and says ENOUGH to the depravity. I hope it's in our lifetime beautiful @lk666.
I may be just a little too high right now, but I think we haven't hit bottom yet but we're on our way there. I also think the only thing that could reverse the current trajectory would be a rejection of modernity and a return to the days of hunter/gathering culture, living as part of nature and not separate and above it. I'm sure to some that makes me tin foil but WGAF right? :D
I believe that too, everything must be decentralized. Traditional society values mixed with modern tech.

Yeah, I wish I had your talent of humor mixed with truth...guns blazing is how I roll and I've made my fair share of enemies, not too many here yet, but it's early in the game LOL!!
Maybe I'm a too "tactful" :-r I think in this day and era, NO ONE wants to have their bubbles burst. Not only that, but no one wants to be challenged and few can really tolerate opposing ideas...
So I'm pretty low key... even the art is low key... who in their right minds doesn't hate spam or inflation, for example... I'm wading in the shallow end of the truth pool XD
I hope we can always have an environment where ideas can be compared without rage or shunning, but that's kind of a pipe dream!
