So today we had a wonderful Pool Easter BBQ, just to celebrate the team and their hard work and to motivate the boys and for the boys to have some fun together instead of just training and being serious all the time and what time better than during the Easter Weekend, since this is Easter and instead of having an Easter break (no school for a week) and celebrating it on the beach with family and friends (all week) the boys had to train every day with two games this week. So mind as well celebrate with a pool BBQ lunch.

The boys lost two games in a row which took them down to second place now, and with that came a little disappointment and a bit of frustration on the field and so the coach wanted to do something fun for the boys to have some fun instead of just training hard.
The other reason is that this week was vacation time for the boys and the parents to celebrate Easter with their families and just relax from the school and training, but with two games this week and falling down to second place, the boys had no break at all since all of their practices were first thing in the morning and early waking-up on the game days (4:30 and 5 am).
The boys worked really hard so far and they really deserved the break since all of the boys are either in (Bachillerato I, or Bachillerato II) which is grade 11 and 12, which means, school starts at 7 am and there is also Saturday school, which meanst 6 days of schoool. After school there is practice at 4 pm - 6 pm (5 days a week) with a game on the weekends.
When there are games during the school hours, all the boys get permission from school to go play but that means they have to catch up on their own time because schools are very strict here and you can't miss any work, which the more they miss the more they stress out about it and during the last two games you could really see the stress and the pressure on these boys.
Today we had another game which we really wanted to win in order to be able to get back up to being #1 again and because we had the BBQ right after, we really wanted to win so that the boys can enjoy it, instead of being disappointed.
The game was a success. The games we play now are the second games (one game home and one away) with each team and todays team was Chalatenango which we beach 8-0.
