[S.T.K] #9 - IN STILLNESS ALL THINGS CAN BE KNOWN.
STILLNESS OF MIND ALLOWS A GREATER MIND TO EMERGE and to reveal its Wisdom. Those who cultivate stillness with a desire for Knowledge will be preparing themselves for greater revelation and true insight to emerge. The insight may emerge during practice or during any normal activity. The important aspect here is that the preparation has been made.
TWICE TODAY PRACTICE YESTERDAY’S PRACTICE OF STILLNESS, but practice without the expectation of a result. Do not use this practice to ask any form of question because you are practicing stillness, in which all speculation, all questions and all searching end. For 15 minutes, twice today, practice stillness once again.
General Perspective
While I've had no Revelation while attending the practice of this Step (none that I can remember that is), I do have some great personal experiences when it comes to Meditation and Stillness. The wonderful State of Stillness/Void-ness where there is no input from the physical senses is where we come in contact with a Internal Peace hard to achieve otherwise. Also, this is a most desired place to be for the Manifestation of our Own Desires since there is a most Vivid and Real Feeling to everything that we Imagine.
PRESENT and PRECISE date of 23/12/2017:
Practice #1 (17:15) - (17:38)
I focused my Attention, as much as I could on the statement and Feeling "I AM" but I did get distracted by other thoughts, and then I would remember and Focus again on the I AM-ness.
I laid down in the bed for this practice so I did fell asleep / loose Conscious Awareness for a time, which I'm not sure how much.
