Well ... with China blocking Steemit.com , Wherein seems to be the best alternative for posting to the steem blockchain. Have you checkout http://wherein.io ? You would be able to download the app from there.
They have launched their english version this month ... here was their post.

api.steemit.com and steemit.com is being blocked, I think they use anyx endpoint
