Environment Design Class - Painting Practice TIMELAPSE of a street
More Environment Design Practice
I'm following an Environment Design Class at Schoolism by the great Nathan Fowkes, as you mights have read in a previous post. Today I made some more homework!
The homework assignment is copying an environment (either a painting, photo or screencapture) in about an hour, trying to capture the essence of the painting or photo. I used a concept art piece by Nathan Fowkes, he made it for the movie Shrek.
I have actually never painted architecture before and I found it really hard to paint the houses. Picking the right colors was tough as well. Now that I am reviewing it again I see that my edges are way to soft, I should definately work on that the next time I paint architecture. I need a lot more practice painting environments! But it is fun to do :D
