Environment Design Class - My Homework
Environment Design Class
I'm following an Environment Design Class at Schoolism by the great Nathan Fowkes! And when you follow a class, you need to make some homework...

Unfortunately I haven't had much time to follow the online classes lately, so I haven't made much homework yet. I'm planning to get back at it though! At Schoolism you can follow the online classes in your own tempo, so that is wonderful. I was very impressed by the classes I followed so far and Nathan Fowkes is a great teacher.
After every class, the teachers at Schoolism will give you a homework assignment. The assignment I'm still working on is copying an environment (either a painting, photo or screencapture) in about an hour, trying to capture the essence of the painting or photo.
I think it's always a great exercise to copy the work of others, it will teach you about how the 'masters' work and think.
So... the assignment was to make 10 of these paintings. I only managed to make 4 so far though... and that was months ago! Time to get back into action! I hope I'll be able to post more soon and improve my environment painting skills.
What do you think of my efforts so far? And what skills would you like to improve yourself?

What's your goal?
Your work is already great, but copying the masters and artists you like is a great way to improve. Good luck finishing your assignment and have fun with it.
