DTUBE - Must Know Bali Basics For Travel - Dory Is That You? - Sammy's First Time Feeding Koi!

Hey Steemit and Dtube,
Bali 2018 was an adventure in itself, and we certainly did a few first times even though it was short and sweet.

Sammy loved the Koi pond, naming each one either Dory or Memo ( Nemo for the rest of us )

I am now busy editing the other videos I shot including some items post Managers Training Session. I think I've found a way for my Business to explode forward!

In the meantime, if you are thinking of travelling to Bali, here's a few must knows:

When ever getting into a cab, ensure they have a meter.
If they don't have a meter, ensure you know the price before you take off. Don't try and haggle at the end, it normally ends in a problem!
Ask the locals before you go how much a cab ride should cost, the price varies greatly!
The exchange rate for Aussie is 10,000 - 1 which makes it easy to back calculate, just remove the final 4 zeros.
Don't drink the water, pretty obvious I know, but also avoid the ice if you have a sensitive stomach.
The people are lovely for the most part, very welcoming
If you don't like traffic, best to stay at home :)
The rainy season ends in March. The dry season, the middle of the year is normally the busiest.
Shopping is plentiful, if not sometimes difficult.
The local food is fantastic, it will just depend on how adventurous you are.
When it rains, it RAINS!!
There are a huge array of temples, parks, Safari Parks and beaches to visit. A guide that speaks the language makes it easier.
Drones normally need licenses, sometime above 500m or sometimes anywhere. Once again best to have someone with you that can translate just in case. I didn't take my drone...BIG MISTAKE!!
Bug repellent is a must, last thing you want is a bite at dusk! They are very good at spraying, but can never been too careful!
