Our society is getting better daily and that is because we are beginning to witness more rise of businesses and proper management. But there are some certain things we need to pay attention to when it comes to business so that we can properly make the right strategies that will lead to success. Today I will be participating in the assignment carried out in the Steemit contest below.

Customer support

Over the years, I have come to learn that customer service is one of the major important factor that actually determine the success of a business. Also, in little experience in business, I have come to discover that when you are faced with a problem, the First step for you to approach is Empathy.

When I talked about Empathy, it means you listening to the customers concerns, accepting their frustrations or discouragement. Take for example, probably a particular goods was delivered at a late time. I will start by saying "I completely understand how frustrating and annoying this can really be for you by you receiving this goods you order late.

Then the next one is to apologise. My apology will definitely be sincere. I can continue by saying "I apologise for any of the inconvenience this might have really caused you." By me saying this, I have assured that the customers feeling is acknowledged and does not go unnoticed.

Then the final step is to diagnose. When I talked about Diagnose, I mean trying to find the root cause of that particular issue so that it will not repeat itself again ever. I can begin to make research what caused the delay. Was it caused by internet issue, human resources or finances. When I am able to find the root cause of that delay or generally the issue, it will allow me to profound solutions to it and not only finding solution but also making sure it does not happen again.

Then finally I can now engage with the customer as I tried to find a way of making resolution. With this approach, I will not only solve the immediate problem but also at the end of the day, I will have been able to increase my customer trust and loyalty to my business as I show them that I am willing to go extra miles to see that their satisfaction is ensured.

Well, over the years also in business and also reading about others people experience in business, I have come to discover that as the business continues to grow, one needs to find a way to balance both the company goals and also the financial resources together. My company goal at that particular time will focus majorly on me increasing the market share and not only that but also improving the performance of operations in my company which will lead to the customer experience to be much more better.

One of the ways I will definitely achieve those goals I have stated above is by hiring. First of all, I will need to find the right talent and skilled staff that will filled the gap. If my company at that particular time requires me to employ more staff that will work in different sector of my companies whether in customer services, in technical support and many more.

Let me take for example I need to hire new skilled staff that will help in my customer service department, I will definitely hire customer service representatives and technical staff who have well advanced and specialised knowledge about it. Not only that I will make sure I focus also in boosting the productivity of departments in my companies like the marketing department, operation department so that it can enhance productivity and growth at the end of the day.

Well I quite understand that financially, it might be cumbersome for me because I will need to try find the balance, I can make the staff hiring to be in phases. What do I mean by that? It can be gradually, I can employ certain staff this month and focus on employing other set of staffs in the next 3-4 months. By doing so, I will successfully employ people who can bring to the business expansion and growth.

This is the aspect I love the most because this is the aspect that helps to enhance the growth of the business rapidly. For every business that was successfully able to have a well detailed expansion plan, it will help them not to only grow but to also benefit able to sustain their business growth.

One of the strategy I will definitely apply and cous on will be the geographical expansion, the product Diversification and lastly leveraging technology in order to be able to increase operations. After I have successfully been able to analyse my company growth pattern over months, I will work on expanding to thrive into new while and still be able to maintain the operation of the existing markets I have at hand.

I can apply the phased approach to the expansion. This is what it looks like. I will first of all start with the nearby regions that have high demand for my company goods and services. I can achieve this by creating targeted marketing campaigns and knowing fully well the strength of local distributors, I can establish partnerships with them also.

Well that is not enough, I will work on diversification of my product just like I said earlier so that we can have a wider and broader audience that can at the end of the day helps in market penetration for me. Then lastly, I talked about leveraging technology, of course I can not neglect the importance of technology in my expansion plan. I will also invest in technology that can help us to automate certain processes.

Well, thank God we are even in the era of artificial intelligence. Of course, this expansion plan will take place gradually so as for me to be able to monitor the performance and to be able to maintain profitability.

Aggressive or soft marketing strategies

Every business will definitely needs marketing for growth most especially when the business is a small scale business. One of the plans or let me say my major plan for my business to be able to engage my customers is not to only limit to selling products or services but also I will focus on also building long-term relationships. Relationship is really key.

Thank God for the gift of social media we have in our present age. I will definitely make use of social media platforms by sharing comments, customer testimonials and even educational post that meets my targeted audience. Not only that, I will also have plans for giveaways because giveaways is a strong tool to be able to attract people most especially my potential customers. Imagine offering massive discount or promo to products or services I will be offering if you will be getting them. This can help me to attract new customers.

Then finally, I will establish what is called a referral program. Referall program have proven to work like magic in different marketing strategies and that is what I will definitely apply. I will make it work in a way that as an existing customer, you will get some rewards if you referred someone to patronise my product or servixes.

By following this strategy even with limited budget, I will be able to attract and also retain customers at the end of the day.
