When I started doing song request now a month ago, I did it for several reasons.The first one being connecting with music lovers like me and find a way to share a special experience together, and make you win SBD at the same time!
The second reason was to become a better musician and singer, and challenging myself by doing so.
Today's song is a prime example of the type of song that makes you a better artist once you've managed to sing it.
It is a request from my friend @theomgbrand , I wasn't expecting less from such an amazing rapper seriously go check his stuffs.
Today's song is "Alone Together" by Daley , and when I heard it at first at got very scared, that I wouldn't even be able to perform it.
It's very high , and the studio version is sooooo well produced I nearly cry when that bass movement start to happen.
It took me just a week to decipher what was happening harmonically, and there are no chords online to be found so it was a play by ear for days. At the same time I had the other song requests that I needed to finish so I couldn't spend too much time on it , I nearly started to look a bit obsessed by the song, and as a hiker climbing the mount Everest I was starting losing patience while not seeing any end at sight.
Eventually I managed to figure out what was going on, and then try to adapt it to a very intimate guitar style .There is actually a version of "Alone Together" by Daley but watching got me more confused than anything , for one thing I can't hear the guitar well, but one good thing came out of it, I finally managed to find the right key for my voice.
And eventually I just stopped listening to the song and made my own sauce once i had the lyrics in mind
The tempo is 85 , it's 2 split tracks vocal and guitar with several compressors, EQ and reverb>
I decided to master the song for an extra hour just to get that extra crisp vocals and guitar I hope it worked.

Not bad at all..i love the way you did the chorus...I am glad to have challanged you....i love pushing people to be better at what ever they do...keep singing and i will def have a whole lot more request....i have many songs that mean a lot to me

I am a song writer and i listen lol....I know what it means to have a song that means something to you....not a hard concept
