just watched it, brilliant performances by Gugino and Greenwood. Direction also superbly done. Only gribe for me is the ending was a bit longish, but it's classic stephen king. Also that gory scene man, one of the most graphic I have ever seen.
Agree with everything that you mentioned. That hand scene. I went weak watching that.
Half the plot of the movie could be solved if they had closed the door to the cabin properly.
Yet I really liked it at the time!
