Running on STEEM Podcast Episode#014 - How do You Pitch the Idea of Blogging on SteemIt to Others?
Hey, everyone!
Hope all is good. I've just been busy stuffing my face and catching up with a few relatives during this festive season. And it was during one of the Chinese New Year lunches at my Grandfather's house that an aunt of mine asked me what I was currently doing as far as a career was concerned.
Weirdly enough, I thought ever since I got married people would just stop bugging me and asking me questions. But I guess if you still don't have children and don't make millions, the questions are just going to be a regular routine every Chinese New Year or family event. I love my aunt by the way :P
I don't think I explained what I was doing very well. I got the details out but I did a poor job of selling the idea of podcasting on steemit and getting paid in cryptocurrency.
So I'm just curious, how have you guys/gals fared in selling the idea of blogging and earning on steemit to your friends and family?
What about those who live off SteemIt? How have you guys explained what you do to survive and pay the bills to your family and friends?
Would love to find out!
And besides all that, I'm also thinking of how I can improve the show and hopefully provide more value for others and actually do something bigger with it. I hope to start with a new structure and format by this coming Thursday.
Thanks for listening!

Power up
you share a very memorable post. I am amazed at you by teaching me how to make money for beginners
a good thought and need a brilliant idea
Different people have different ideas how they want to earn income/side income. Just like anything else, I'd guess, quite a few think they don't have writing skills, or don't like to blog, podcast, etc.
In a sense, getting people to try anything is a numbers game. Out of a hundred, maybe a handful.
They have to be hit with the message (from different sources) probably at least 7 times before it starts to register.
