Oh No! @drugwars, Ponzi Scheme Or A Better Future!
@drugwars will no longer be rewarding in terms of steem in 48 hrs!!!
Have you read the new update of @drugwars?
If not here are some quick notes from their post:
- They're introducing a new token named "FUTURE".
- There won’t be anymore rewards with Steem, instead players will be rewarded with 'FUTURE Tokens'. (While the daily prize will increase depending of your rank, the number of maximum deposit will be also limited until we deploy our final solution against bots.)
Further Explanation:
'The new mechanic is still based on your drugs production as well as the Heist. That will allow you to earn the FUTURE tokens. Then you will be able to use the FUTURE Tokens in the game and later on you’ll be able to exchange (which won’t take too much time as discussions are being held now). Plus: You will also get FUTURE Tokens airdropped depending on your investment in Drugwars.'
- You can still earn steem through their UPVOTE and for future delegators!

If you're wondering how's my revenue...
I spent a total of 20.525 STEEM on @drugwars which is actually not a lot compared to others and these were rewards I received from the game:
- 10.903 STEEM from daily
- 1.353 STEEM from heist
- 0.337 STEEM from referrals
So, can I say I loose 7.932 STEEM or is it even because it had fun with the game?
It's a bitter-sweet feeling! I think am not upset of this, am more disappointed because of my expectations, I thought this is one of best game that pays Steem but anymore.
I feel bad for all the friends I invited to join the game who spent their moneys and barely had any Steem. Also, it's the only reason why they got back on Steemit, now am not sure about the FUTURE of the game! Do you?

LOL..I just don't like games...but I do lose a small fortune on magic-dice lol...
I think this is a simple robbery and I hope all the community bands together to take these sharks down.
Disgusting behaviour. How many people would have bothered playing if they didnt think there was the possibility of a ROI? Not many I suspect.

They advertised very early on that you would earn money, what they did not say is that while ‘playing’ they changed prices on investments ... and more important ... that your investments don’t mature ... players who got in as early adopters and the ‘3rd’ batch who invested little later where after first changes much better of then the ones who got in after the first week or so, and invested $$$ and really build. Theres monextra incentive for that ... big fail imho ... and the way to much, much game ‘adaptations’ ... theonly winners with drugwars will be the creators of drugwars.
The reward pool has been dried out by now ... so something has got to change.
Depending on the future usage of the new token, it still could be lucrative ... but when take in account the behaviour of the team ... i doubt it will be.
Yeah, they need to publish a plan and stick to it. All the jumping around is fueling the fire.

Thankfully I’m in profit by a reasonable amount. But it shits me that @drugwars made this change. It’s such a dishonest move and one that will completely destroy the game.

This is why I recommended not to invest more than 5 steem. The returns were luring but definitely not long lasting.
I knew they would end but did not expect them to end so soon and so abruptly.
They say they will make a provision to exchange FUTURE tokens back to Steem. Hopefully that will help us break even with the investment.
Sure I will continue playing but not as crazy as I will till the next 24 hours. lol
