Drawing Challenge#6 -Entry #2 | TRAFALGAR LAW of ONE PIECE( child with amber lead disease)

Hi there STEEMIANS! I am here for my second entry on this drawing challenge by @helene with the theme "draw portrait of a child" if you wanna join this challenge here's the link https://steemit.com/drawingchallenge/@helene/drawing-challenge-winners-5-and-new-theme-6-sbds-giveaway.

This time i draw a child version of Trafalgar Law whom at the current story of ONE PIECE is in alliance with the Straw Hat Pirates. Let me give you a small background of Law's childhood days he Lost his family and was also infected by this amber lead disease and was doomed to die before reaching adulthood. But thanks to Corazon whom the lifesaver of Law through giving law the "Ope Ope No Mi" or also known as the Ultimate Devil Fruit. If you want to know more about Law's story click here.

So without further ado heres my pencil sketch of Trafalgar Law kid version...

Now here's the process...

#1. I used a HB (2) pencil on drafting Law's head, I recommend that you should always draw lightly when drafting your sketch so when you think or see that theres an error you can easily erase it and fix it.

#2. I started detailing the face and the Hat on his head. I used 3B drawing pencil for shading below his hat and also for the spots on his hat. Be sure to check if its your final draft because its messy to erase shadow details specially larger shadow details.

#3. Then I started to draft his right arm again be sure to draw lightly at first like in this drawing i actually redo laws right arm twice because i do some error. Again using 3B drawing pencil for darker areas.

#4. Next I started drawing his clothes then the left arm. But I dont detailed it too much at first I will do the more detailed sketch on last part. By the way I always do that hehe. I use 4H for darker shadows of skin tone and 6H for lighter part. I do the same technique in his hat.

#5. Then lastly the lower body part the shorts, legs and feet. It took me alot of time filling the shade of his shorts i used 4B drawing pencil on shading it. Then after that i do detailing the overall sketch finding if there should be shadows here or there and fixing it.
