Spider Coccoon
There was once a spidery contents here but a spider has now put them inside coccoons.... Like Shelob did with Frodo Baggins~ Or maybe like those fleshy things in Aliens before the chestburster bursts out of them~ Yep, like one of those things :D
I know people who are scared of funny clowns. I must admit, that I'm scared of your creepy clown :) BUT it is a great drawing, if I forget the dark spots instead of eyes :) Thank you for sharing spider!

You are right. I do agree with the irrational fear of clowns. BUT if a spider is hanging in front of my my eyes (and I didn't expect it), I get scared a little ;) We have so many spiders on our terrace (like hundreds), even though we live on the 9th floor. At the beginning my husband was releasing them to the meadow in front of the building but then he got fed up so I had to do it myself. It showed me that they are not that scary, but more scared of me :)
yeah i try to save the spiders also but sometimes they come out when im at the toilet or at the shower and im like WHY W H Y
but when i can, i put them outside yes :)

I think there's plenty of people (though I'm not really one of them) who thinks clowns are cruel, so you might have actually hit the prompt on the head, anyway. :)
Regardless, it looks great. I guess you drew freehand using ink? That's amazing.
Now, you didn't mention it anywhere, but is that a knife that clown is holding? A pen? It's kind of hard to tell. And is that just a place where the palm lines come together on the other hand the clown is waving, or is that actually blood stains, or a cut?
Like I said, I think you may have arrived at cruel. Especially if I'm right about the knife. Maybe subtly cruel, but not that much. :)

Nice drawing though, I like the design of this character, the eyes on the shoes are particularly inspired, but I also like the heart motif socks and the lil bow tie.

Oh phew! I saw your title with the word 'clown' and thought, 'no, I've misread the prompt word again' but then I saw you said it was cruel. I already had sketched out 'cruel' and didn't want to have to add a clown at this late stage!
I love your clown and it must be therapeutic to make your backgrounds, the repeating lines look so wonderful and I bet making them takes you out of your head.
