It is certainly hard. But there's something fun also with watercolour. Maybe the fact that time is an important factor, though it's frustrating, it also feels like a game? At least that's how it is, in my mind.

The second step was pretty awesome. I guess somewhere between the second and final step is the sweetest-spot. But is great to see you leap into watercolors :D... they seem hard to tame.
Yes, I agree that the second step is better than the final one. With watercolour it's very important to find the time to leave the painting alone, unlike in digital where we can continue forever. Still so many things to learn about this tools... I feel that I'm back to noob land but also just like in mmo, the first few levels it's quick to level up :D.
