Bitten by a pinch of induced curiosity, - as explain in a previous post -, Hammerjack is now move to inquiries Lijan Quade by a force he can't explain to himself, but how could have he knowed that Lijan Quade have also reached him under the Veil of Reality?
And among many of these cryptic exchanges, the subject of death emerges. Framed here, in the fictional creation of Suncity's tales, this question is quite honest because, as in every work of fiction, the possibility to revive a lost one, a love or an enemy is always one line away...
What is more backhanded is Lijan Quade response. Does he really mean something? Is there really an hidden truth in his riddle? Something like "death can only discuss by livings so it's a non-question" or "reality derive from one mind interpretation of himself" or "Eternity with or without self is equivalent, so is life an death" or are those words devoid of any purpose, but to confuse Hammerjack even further, to shake his spirit for the Quade to reshape?
Poor Hammerjack, his journey to madness, to Alerby, only begins...
