Fan art of Kaneki / ファンアート – 金木くん

It’s been too long since I drew some characters.
I notice that it’s easy to forget how to draw...even to draw a simple straight lines.
I think I should draw every day even for 10 minutes to avoid the freak out haha.
I remember when I was taking the guitar lesson online, the instructor said that it’s better to practice 5 to 10 minutes every day than practice 1 hour once a week.
I think drawing is the same as well.
It was a bit scary forgetting to draw.
Anyways, I started drawing a random character to practice colouring.
I’ve been watching some tutorials and also started using Clip Studio.
Clip Studio is so much nicer than MediBang!!!...of course, it’s not free...
I’m on 6 months free trial but because I draw on iPad, it will cost me monthly or yearly after the free trial when if you use PC to draw, you just have to purchase the software once.
I don’t like the extra cost but I’ll see...

久しぶりにキャラクターのイラストを描きました。
いやぁ〜久しぶりすぎて、描き方を忘れていましたよ。
まっすぐな線が描けなくて焦りました^^;
一日10分でもいいからペンを持った方がいいですね。
ギターの先生も言っていましたが（ギターは前にオンラインでレッスンを受けました）限られた時間の中で習得しようとした時、週一度まとめて1時間練習するより、毎日5分でも10分でもいいからギターを持った方が上達するし、指も痛くならないんですよね〜
絵も同じかな、なんて思いました。
さてさて、今日は、というかこのイラスト仕上がるのに何日かかってんだ、笑…なんですが、ただ好きな顔を描いて色ぬりの練習でもと思いました。
今、チュートリアルの動画を見ていろいろ勉強中です。
そして、Clip Studioというアプリを使い始めました。
これ、MediBangよりいいです。
まあ、有料なので当たり前ですが、凄くいいです。
今は6ヶ月の無料お試しで使っています。
PCで描いていれば、一度ソフトウェアを購入すれば良いことなのですが、私はiPadで描いているのでそれは出来ず、アプリを利用するために月額又は年額で料金を払わないといけません。
余分な出費は避けたいのですが、これは〜どうしましょうね？
手放せなないかもしれません。

It took me a while to get a hang of doing the line art, especially the hair.
This is my third one lol.

久しぶりに線画を描いて一番焦りました。
線がまっすぐ均等に描けない！！！髪の毛が描けないぃ〜〜〜！！！
と、消したり描いたり…完成しても気に入らず、これは3度目に描いた線画です。
なんとかもと通り^^; あ〜疲れた、笑

Adding shading and details.
It kind of looked like Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul so I coloured it accordingly...well, just the eyes haha

影などを描き足して…
なんだか、東京喰種の金木くんに似ているので、そのように色を塗りました...と言っても目だけねw

Adding the background details.
These flowers are done by the decoration brush comes with Clip Studio.
It’s kind of like stamps on photo editing app.
I didn’t draw them.
I could add details to it but I lefted it untouched this time.

今まで背景のことを考える余裕がなかったのですが、これからは頑張って背景も入れていこうと思います。
でもこれ、Clip Studioに付いてくるブラシの一つ…お花のスタンプですw 描いてません^^;
この花たちに手を入れることも出来たのですが、今回はこのまま。
