I generally try to avoid a lot of the politics of the platform but I will say, I have some serious concerns with statements which indicate they wont fork the blockchain to eliminate one or more users if certain action(s) doesn't take place.
That not only has shades of extortion, it begs the question if that is the start of a slippery slope where the platform gets purged by the top 20 at will.
There are problems and issues that need to be addressed but negotiation through a gun to someone's head is not negotiation.

I share your concerns but I cannot think what alternative we have in order to face a bad situation as the one we see now...

as often been said about everyone else on this platform, it is their stake to with as they wish. Best to respect that fact while engaging Steemit Inc. The fact that Ned has been appearing in the community indicates he has got the message, he needs to communicate and work with the community. Holding a gun to anyone's head doesn't make them communicate or cooperate better in the long run.
