Do you agree to Steemit Inc making public a list of all accounts owned and funds held in them? + SBI and SM giveaway

Yesterday, I read this post by @daan in which clearly pointed out a discussion involving @ned. In this discussion, Ned was asked if Steemit Inc can make a public a list of all accounts that the company owns.

You can check the discussion here

It should be noted that Ned had once transferred the Steem held in his account to an exchange with the reason "hiding my Steem from public viewing".

Personally, I would not expect Ned to show up their accounts, even if he does I would not expect him to show them all.

SBI and SM giveaway

I will randomly give out 1 Steem basic income share and 1 Common Steemmonster card to two people that vote on a response at dpoll along with a comment to back his/her opinion. I will do this before this post paysout and announced the winners in the poll post that will follow.

  • Yes

  • No

Answer the question at dpoll.xyz.

Sort:

I think there should be a third option, of I don't know, as the new users here don't know very much about blockchain or how the system works.

Oh! This didn't come to my mind at the time of writing. I will make sure not to make such mistake again. I appreciate your suggestion and it is well noted!

Voted for Yes.

I only voted Yes cause I had no other options...and it really don't matter...if you push anyone,to show you something...you will never really get other then crap...wiseguys thought of it way,way ahead...what you get to see...it's irrelevant...

Then I think you would have settled for "No" and yeah, you got a point.

But, a No...is meaningless too
...

Then I would suggest you read the conversation I cited in the post above and maybe put yourself in place of Ned and his company.

This statement Steem is not Steemit Inc nor steemit.com keeps ringing in my head.

No, can be a possible answer but I'm not sure why.

Never mind...you won't get it...that's fine...
Stop making stupid polls!

Noted!. You too, you shouldn't vote on stupid polls.

No hard feelings though . . .

I voted no.
they don't need to do that and even if they showed something it wouldn't be enough to generate the necessary confidence. because you won't know if they're showing everything.

Yeah, I think you got a brilliant point here.

Didn't need to do that

Alright, thanks.

It would be the best PR option they have. Otherwise they will lose a lot of trust.
But I guess some fan boys will always agree to their doings.

Also, you could have stated your question a bit better.
Because they will not open their accounts and reveal anything, as your question suggested.

Oh! You're right. I meant listing and revealing but that isn't reflected in my question. Let me edit thanks.

PS: thanks for your opinion too

They have no obligation to do that. But it would be better for transparency and community trust.

I think you're being reasonable here.
