RE: HF21/HF22: Back in the Game --- Starting Downvote War or Making community Stable
I think a big part of the downvoting culture is people are tired of seeing big wallets voting for big wallets, paid for votes overshadowing well written original pieces on the trending page, one picture and one paragraph getting a substantial reward. Plus they get 2 downvotes for free. 😉
Flagging for a simple disagreement in the amount of rewards a post is getting if perfectly fine. Just be real enough to leave them a comment as to why. I am in no way saying that abusive downvoting isn’t happening but now users have the ability to use 2 100% downvotes and they are using them. This downvote storm will pass and while it is here make sure you use your 2 free downvotes. HAHAHAHA
People get butt hurt that they get caught Bid botting every single comment they make for example. They get flagged and their paid for votes wipes away. Then they go on a flagging rampage and play the victim. Sorry you got caught milking the rewards pool and abusing Bid Bots. Be honest, is it really that hard to do?
As far as the so called Steem Dufus League goes... camillesteemer... their downvotes aren’t big enough to cause any real decline in post payout. They are turds and you should just let the turds lay, or like those gnats flying around you face that you just can’t seem to swipe away.
I know that but you did,t check out the downvoting ratio of @acdiyo and @kingcrown they are downvoting each other's post consistently. and many other user are being downvoted by these two.
I,m against bid bot vote and I love when the user who bought upvote from bid bot gets a downvote. but sometimes people downvote for revenge. that,s what I don,t like. recently i got downvotes form ocbd , threespeak , theycallmeden and many other users who are following them only because I got upovte from smartsteem. but I did,t bought vote from smart steem, now smartsteem is manually curating.
They did,t warn me, they just did downvote. then I ask ocbd to review this, I did,t bpught any upvote.
One who has power is doing what ever he want to do. there is no stopping him
Misunderstandings happen, it human nature. Smartsteem has a very ugly past of upvoting scammers and spammers and allowed many to abuse its services. I don’t know the “whole” back story on this but just chill and keep doing your thing and let this whole hard Fork smooth itself out.
If the big wallets want to flag big wallets... whatever that is their deal. If people revenge flag, that is their deal and on their conscience. Just keep being honest with yourself and your doings and things will be just fine.
